How are you choosing to contribute to Women's History Month?

Well, Happy March to everyone! This is a great month to take time to recognize the women who you believed were pivotal in helping you be the person you are today. I am excited to discuss how we as business owners can incorporate creative ways to increase our network and give back to others during this special time of the year. I am happy to recognize my mother and mother-in-law who are key to being a mother of 15 children today.

I am happy to acknowledge them both for without each of them, I would not be here nor would my husband be here and I am grateful for them both. As I ponder all the challenges that I had on my journey raising 14 of our children and the 15th one was raised with his mother, I am amazed to see how far I have come. I have learned so many lessons and have seen my children transform on so many levels. I am very fortunate to have had great friends, family and professional mentors that have helped to mold me to where I am today.

So I ask you...What women have made or are making a difference in your life today? This month is a perfect time to connect with them and build your business. I have a few ideas that can help you get started.

Highlight a connection/or client in a series for your email or a business newsletter. Swapna Abraham is my amazing connection who has 4 world records as a musical composer!!! We met on Facebook and I have been inspired ever since. I was able to witness part of her journey of creating 1000 songs in 1000 days live on Facebook. I have chosen to call mine a Teamwork Tip. You could promote this weekly or monthly to all of your connections. This can be customized around women for the month of March.

You can create a podcast series to be hosted by a woman in your tribe. I am happy to have Karla Aghedo join me for a 4 week series on Wealth Domination. She is discussing weekly some of the skills necessary for us to improve and dominate with our money.

Participate in a charity in honor of someone in your network. I am happy to join the Pancreatic Cancer Walk to raise money with Summer DeCoste. Summer and I are the co-founders of the Elephant Strategy Club on the Clubhouse App. We created this club last year and currently have over 900 members. We have spent so many hours in getting to know others and watching them transform and now it is time to return the favor for her cause as a Pancreatic Cancer Survivor.
