Holiday Sales Events – there are so many holidays throughout the year targeting everything from mom’s to administrative assistants to doctors and kids. Host an in-store or on-line theme’d event around that holiday and provide discounts on targeted products or services.

Vouchers and Coupons – giving a discount is always a great way to get consumers to try your product or service. You can offer coupons or vouchers on-line, through paid media, by direct mail and on social media.

Contests and Giveaways – depending on your budget, you can make a consumer sales contest as big or small as you want it to be.  Purchasing a product or service as a means to enter a contest is a great ways to reach a targeted demographic. On a larger scale, partner with a sports organization or theme park to give away tickets and/or a unique experience. On the smaller scale, use your social media platforms to encourage signs ups for your newsletter by entering to win your product or service.  NOTE: You may need to provide an alternate means of entry, other than the purchase of your product. Check federal and/or state laws before you get started.

Customer Loyalty Programs – Build on an on-going relationship with your customer with a loyalty program. Punch cards , stamps or computer generated tracking could be used to encourage multiple purchases. For example, a customer get’s a stamp for every bag of dog food he buys. After the 10th bag, the next one is free.
