December is an action month!

December is an action month!

Transitions and transformations

There is a lot of reflective energy floating around right now, many people are starting to look at behaviour patterns and ways to make changes. It feels as though there is a dip before the bounce back. I thought I was the only one feeling it but very quickly I started to notice reflective posts on social media and when having discussions with clients it is clear there are a large number of people who desire to change negative behaviour patterns NOW.

The good news is that support is available and it is not limited, if you open up about your personal life you will not be restricted, if you are struggling at work you have a confidential space to open up and there will be no judgement about how fit you are for your job role. I will explain in detail the support I offer to clients who invest in their emotions and thought processes.

December is a busy time of year, you may spend time with people you normally wouldn’t speak with and you may be out of your pj’s more on Saturday nights than you have been all year. You may eat more, you may consume more alcohol and you may be braving the shops daily!

Now what impact does this have?

For those who feel they have work to do in this world adding value to the lives of others will feel the effects of this busy time more than others, it may leave you feeling floored or unable to imagine what your purpose looks like. The distractions may take you way off course, especially if you are sharing your ideas with everyone you meet on these nights out.

Dreams and targets

You may have a desire to take your business to the next level, to increase your income and have more leisure time however, everyone you share this with tells you every single way it can’t work.

Some people are more sensitive than others therefore it takes them longer to recover from harsh energies and challenging situations, this is perfectly okay, I am one of those people however, I am consistent with my action steps meaning I can maintain focus even when life has my back against the wall.

Let’s go back to the party nights of December.

The conversations on the nights out quickly becomes about other people and how much they hate their work meaning your desire has been suppressed again, you opened up again gently and the message you hear is rejection. Think of how much you will analyse your idea from someone else’s perspective the next day after this happens and with a hangover you can expect fear and doubt to flood in.

The best and most efficient way to reduce the impact of this is to always have someone believe in you no matter what. My clients often book a short catch up call in between sessions as they thrive on hearing they can make this work, especially after someone has stamped all over their idea or when no one has liked their latest video or joined their social media group.

Reflection

It is perfectly natural to reflect in December given a whole year has passed by, you want to look back and see how you could have done things differently. The problem occurs when you stare into the past rather than simply looking back.

December is a time to start planting new seeds, it’s a time energy is high and you may be functioning at a higher level of vibration however, this will only be the case for those who remain focused. Your vibration is sensitive and can be impacted at any time if you are not careful. Take your eye off the ball for a night and you could be looking at one confusing day rolling into another and another and another. You could throw your life changing idea out the window and not by your own conscious choosing.

Reviewing your plan at various stages is always helpful. It is important that we work together closely to ensure the action steps are going in the right direction. If you have never worked towards anything in your life I will help you to be patient with yourself whilst striving for more, this is not always something people find easy to achieve on their own as they can become like 2 opposing forces. We want to work together to build up your independent self-sufficient skills so you can take the rest of the journey on your own.

You want to enjoy the festivities?

Of course you do, you want to enjoy it as much as the next person and planning ahead will allow you to do this. In December I am working with my clients to help them plan ahead to avoid negative decisions that have a huge impact on the momentum of their life desires.

Through coaching you will set clear personal boundaries along with professional boundaries, you will no longer feel compelled to say yes to everyone who asks for your time instead, you will manage your own time ensuring you set aside enough time for self-reflection and self-love.

I was working with a client who was in network marketing, they had decided to slow down and pick up again in January, this was a result of past experiences. This client had always started to slow down in their job during the month of December. During the session where this was the focus we looked at the impact this would have on finances, January and team building, we quickly agreed a plan to utilise the energy of December to engage new team members and ways to sell products fast meaning her savings pot was filling rather than draining.

Sound good?

When you want anything great in life such as the ideal business for you, a promotion at work or a new relationship you will start to engage in visualising, learning, systematic thinking and then up pops the limitations and the past experiences.

Any time someone starts to take a step into action mode many painful experiences from the past start to raise their head, this may seem like a setback however I invite you to stop and look at this from a positive mindset, one that believes these memories are popping up to be healed, only when you heal them can you let them go.

There are very few people who find action steps towards their life desires easy but, looking on social media you would assume it is the easiest most wonderful ride of life, it’s not, it’s hard, there are set backs and there is rejection to the highest level, you need resilience to last in the game.

Getting your life in order

You have all the answers you need within, unfortunately they are buried below aggressive habits, stubborn approaches and perfectionist ideas. Coaching and mentoring can help you remove the blocks for you to tap into your creative abilities, to fully understand why you are the person for your business and why people should trust you when they want to invest.

It’s not only adults who benefit from coaching, young people benefit too. Below are the results of my recent second year emotional intelligence group work programme, you will see that the young people’s emotional state improved from the beginning to the end of the programme.

In a coaching session we will focus on areas you find difficult and we will work through a process:

1. Understand the experience and the impact it had

2. Understand why this experience showed up

3. Come to a conclusion in terms of clearing all emotional baggage relating to the event

4. Planning ahead to do things differently

Through this process you are no longer controlled by your thoughts, you are starting to control your own outcomes and experiences, when in business or engaging in romantic relationships it is vital you remain in your own personal power as much as possible.

Coaching will help you bring back some order to the way you operate and take action, rather than throwing spaghetti at the wall and hoping something sticks we will create plans to ensure you manage your time well, you keep moving forward despite setbacks and you are able to communicate your wisdom from a place of confidence and strength. Coaching will remove the thoughts that leave you feeling like you are putting on a show. You will learn how you display your skills and ideas online, your message will become more fluid and people will want to hear what you have to say.
