Candidates in the Crowd: Pete Herrnreiter

Today's Candidate in the Crowd is Pete Herrnreiter

As The #ShuftanJobReport roars with OVER 11,600 subscribers!!!!!!, I am rolling out my second phase to help people. I post the report on M/W/F and want to use T/Th to feature excellent candidates. I built this community as a way of bringing together job searchers and those who are hiring.

As an homage to Sports Illustrated's "Faces in the Crowd," I titled "Candidates in the Crowd." This is a white space for candidates to discuss their previous work, hopes, and dreams and show off anything to the network. The Candidate will capture a hiring manager's attention, and good things will happen. Make sure you are following The Shuftan Job Report for all prior Candidates in the Crowd posts and job postings.

Enjoy his entry:

I’m a marketing industry veteran with over 13 years in the agency space, with a focus on leadership roles driving culture change through creating new service offerings and driving client growth. While my primary areas of expertise are digital marketing, brand strategy, and communications strategy, I pride myself on my track record of helping to build businesses, building teams and watching those around me grow. What make me tick?A former colleague recently asked “what’s the one thing that you need people to know?”. And the truth is, while I though through all of the standard stuff like “storytelling” or “driving impact”, the truth is that I love to create, to build.

In my tenure at a number of different agencies, I’ve was hired to drive real, meaningful change a various levels in an organization: pushing client work, building and expanding partnerships, developing new streams of revenue, and repositioning service offerings. And yes, while I can do the work of brand, comms and digital marketing strategy, I draw my energy from the ability to partner with those for whom status quo isn’t good enough, and want to make something together.

What’s next for me?Whether agency or client-side, I’m open to full-time or consulting roles in organizations that are looking for their next chapter.• Full-Time Role: Senior to executive leadership roles focusing on strategy, digital and/or client-strategy.• Freelance/Consulting: Businesses and/or agencies that are considering a repositioning or a reorganization, and need someone to help advise on where best to focus their energies.
