200 Students in Jejuri Who Returned to School the Right Way
Welcome to The Goodness Journal, your passport to a world brimming with compassion and positive change. Every week, our team at the Giving for Good Foundation uncovers a heartwarming, true story that illuminates the remarkable impact of kindness and charity. These tales serve as a testament to the incredible power we all possess to make a difference, one act of goodness at a time.
Remember that first day of school? It was all about new beginnings and learning! This June, Jejuri’s Maharaja Yashvantrao Holkar Vansthali School became our newest ‘Good School’.
At the Giving for Good Foundation, a Good School isn't just about academics. It's about empowering children to make a difference.
And this school is leading by example!
To truly kick off the academic year, we distributed brand new school bags filled with supplies to 200 children from grades 1st to 4th.
Imagine the joy on their faces!
And they multiplied the impact!
Nearly 100 students from grades 3rd and 4th took to the streets, armed with homemade banners. Their goal? Spreading awareness about tree plantations.
In just one hour, these eco-warriors:
● Planted 100+ saplings
● Watered each one
● Scattered seed balls on barren land
Their enthusiasm and impact also made it to local newspapers!
Can we help more kids start school this way?
Your donation can put a bag on a child's back and a hopeful future in their hands.
