Step into the Laboratory of the Future 👨🔬 Intelligent robots helping with time-consuming, repetitive tasks, working seamlessly alongside employees sounds too good to be true? 🤖 Not anymore! That’s exactly what robominds has achieved with their AI-based sample tube sorting cell ASR: The sorting cell combines two Universal Robots Cobots, robominds' robobrain AI technology, a sensor by SICK Sensor Intelligence, and our 2 jaw parallel gripper of the GEH6000 series. The AI-powered technology processes high volumes of incoming samples efficiently. Thanks to advanced AI vision, it handles various sample tube types, sizes, and formats simultaneously, significantly reducing turnaround times. Its open interfaces ensure communication with LIS, Roche navify® sample tracking, and other systems. Our cleanroom certified 2-jaw parallel gripper with long stroke is predestined for laboratory automation and convinces with protection class IP54 and up to 5 million maintenance-free cycles. 🔗 Find out more about robominds solution here https://ow.ly/E0G650Umef1 🔗 Explore our GEH6000 series here https://ow.ly/ACSu50Umef2 #ZimmerGroup #THEKNOWHOWFACTORY #automation #labautomation #artificialintelligence #robotics #laboratory #robominds

My (smart) colleaques at Demcon life sciences & health developed a concept robotic system for MR-guided needle insertion, the MIRIAM Robot. (Visit our website: https://bit.ly/3PKcZpq for more information) For the system concept a so-called Stewart platform (familiar in movement simulators) was chosen, which hangs suspended from an upper plate by five activated arms. The movements of these five arms are controlled by a system of ball and socket and line joints, threaded spindles and piezoelectric motors. With our robot, the needle can be positioned accurately in one insertion through the external skin (so no antibiotics is needed). This makes the procedure faster, more accurate, more sterile and more patient-friendly. Contact details can also be found on https://bit.ly/3PKcZpq #robotics #medtech #MRI #biotech #ivd #engineering #manufacturing #ISO13485
