While the two PREMET Devices differ in their capabilities, they both use the most modern and powerful sensor for the measurement. All following analytics rely on the quality of its signal; therefore, we did not cut any corners. The PREMETs are equipped with the most advanced SmartSensor from Kistler Group. Besides its incredible accuracy even under high temperatures it also features some quality-of-life improvements. For example, the calibration data is stored within the sensor. Exchanging of the sensor will therefore not need a recalibration of the device. But what about our acoustic emission sensor? Follow us to learn about it in our next week's post.
