Starting in 2007 with a ₹ 250 investment in oyster mushrooms grown on their balcony, they expanded to a 600-bed farm and launched their brand in 2010. Their products include mushroom-based momos, pickles, and even fortified cakes, with plans to release Coon Vita, a vitamin D-enriched supplement. Despite early struggles and crop failures, the duo now runs a high-tech farm producing 12 tons of mushrooms annually, with revenues of Rs. 80-90 lakh. Their mission to empower women and small farmers through training programs, which have reached 10,000 participants, has earned them prestigious recognition, including the Progressive Mushroom Grower 2024 award.
