It's a mnemonic acronym of three communication steps. · Hōkoku (報告): To report · Renraku (連絡): To contact or communicate · Sōdan (相談): To consult or ask for advice We spoke to GLOBIS faculty to get their personal insights on this concept: the pros, the cons, and the impact of technology. https://glob.is/3yO3KyQ

🌟 Communication workshop in Suzhou 🌟 We've just wrapped up an amazing training session in hGears Suzhou, focused on enhancing our #communication skills - both at work and in our personal lives. 🗣 From mastering the art of active listening to overcoming communication barriers, it was a journey filled with interactive fun and eye-opening insights. 👁 👂 Why is this so important to us? Because understanding each other is key to our effectiveness as a #team. Building trust, setting clear expectations, solving problems together, and working as a united team are the basics of our identity. 🤝 Solving problems becomes easier when we communicate clearly, and setting the right expectations ensures everyone is aligned and disappointment is avoided. 🛠️ By working together, sharing ideas, and tackling challenges head-on, we build a stronger, more connected work environment. And it all starts with communication. Because when we talk, we learn. And when we listen, we grow. 🏆 🌱 #hGearsGroup #Teamwork #CommunicationSkills #ActiveListening #BuildingTrust #Suzhou

As I reach the six-month mark of my work in Japan, I have been learning a ton of different frameworks, manners, and rules. I would like to share one with you today. One key concept I've encountered is "報・連・相" (Horenso), which stands for "Hokoku" (報告, reporting), "Renraku" (連絡, contacting), and "Sodan" (相談, consulting). This framework is fundamental in Japanese business culture and emphasizes the importance of clear and continuous communication. 報告 (Hokoku): Regularly reporting progress and outcomes ensures that everyone is informed and up-to-date. This practice promotes transparency and accountability within the team. 連絡 (Renraku): Timely and precise communication is crucial. Keeping all relevant parties informed about changes and developments helps maintain efficiency and coordination. 相談 (Sodan): Consulting with colleagues and superiors before making decisions fosters collaboration and leverages collective expertise, leading to better-informed choices and stronger team cohesion. Working in Japan is proving to be exactly as I had hoped: Challenging and full of learning opportunities. Everyday presents new obstacles to overcome, reinforcing my belief that the best time to tackle difficult experiences is now, while I am still young, energetic, and eager to learn. I will continue sharing insights and stories about this endlessly rich culture in next couple of weeks.

Building a community network involves creating meaningful relationships among individuals and organizations to address societal challenges. Key strategies include: ✅️Forming Groups: Start with a small, focused group sharing common interests or activities. ✅️Collaboration: Encourage cooperation among groups with complementary functions for efficiency and resource sharing. ✅️Strategic Networking: Develop operational, personal, and strategic networks to enhance opportunities and support. ✅️Engagement: Regularly interact with contacts through meetings, events, and social media to maintain relationships. It's my pleasure to see Hartanah Group collabs with Nippon Paint Indonesia to address social-finance challenges. #networking #crm #salesmanagement #socialimpact #linkedinnewsasia

I know we are capable of so much more. I consider Selangor’s various programs and initiatives our own ‘holy scripture’, giving us the guidelines to pave the way for us to set examples for not just the other states of Malaysia, but also regionally, and why not worldwide? For that to become reality, I want to uplift Selangorians and bring about a change in mindset that will get us capable of competing at an international level. - Me https://lnkd.in/gcwStU4n

Is there a future in PR? Yes, since the dawn of time when mankind realised that good relationships are key to survival. My heartfelt thanks to P Kamalanathan P Panchanathan (APR, FIPR, MAPRCA) for the invitation to the IPRS (Institute of Public Relations of Singapore) to join the Public Relations Practitioners Society of Malaysia Conference to celebrate World PR Day in Kuala Lumpur. Happy for this opportunity to meet with fellow PR professionals in Malaysia for a time of friendship and knowledge exchange. Looking forward to sharing the topic "The Future of CSR in PR." Is the purpose of CSR for PR? Or vice versa - that PR today is about communicating good? #publicrelations #communications #futureofpr

You can tell yourself you are on the right path when you can afford to go overseas for a few while and let your team run the operations. And this is exactly what happened at Confluences while I was scouting for new clients and projects in Vietnam. ⏭️ Our Operations team led by Helene Khlot, ACCA l Confluences Operations managed to close our yearly fiscal year and accounts on time for Confluences itself -and that's not an easy one with the new record on our numbers of operations- but also for several of our ventures. ⏭️ Our access team managed to schedule and managed concurrently almost 40 meetings in one week for two of our strategic partners - Sophie Besnard and Arthur Mossa you are key witnesses for the works of Borarangsey KORM l Confluences Access and Ponika THAI l Confluences Access 🙏 ⏭️ In Siem Reap, our team - a one man job for now with Chris VARIN l Confluences - finally started the first construction steps of what will become our biggest project to date. ⏭️ Our Marcom department sent this morning our Newsletter in English and French to over 9000 contacts - and it's a first for quite a while that we are sending it right on time - well done Diada SAN l Confluences. And I'm not even talking about our everyday routine with projects development and closing, staff and resident movement and onboarding, and many, MANY more. 2023 was a tough year, 2024 won't be easier but with new partners onboard and that team operating with great autonomy, I know I can focus on what I'm best at, bringing more projects and investments to the Mekong region, the Kingdom of Cambodia and Confluences 🇰🇭 Bring it on⚡ #Cambodia #Mekong #TeamWork #Business
