The 3 areas my clients sacrifice to become industry leaders. 👇 Their health, wellbeing and relationships always coming top of the list. When I ask they why they started out in business, it’s always the same answers; they wanted to be successful, wanted the money and wanted the freedom that would one day come with it. Only now, they have realised that the way things have been built has actually caused them more harm than good. It’s not that we have to change what they want to do, but we do have to work on how they do it. What the f*ck is the point in having everything you ever wanted if it screws up everything that makes you happy? We start by restoring the balance. Finding a way that they can still continue to scale but without the sacrifice of time, energy and the people they love. That’s what true leadership is about. My clients need to be able to set healthy standards for others to follow, not continue to build the narrative that great success comes at a great personal cost and loss. What do you think defines a good leader? Let me know in the comments below. 👇 Chris - Your Results Coach.

if you don't protect your people , you don't deserve their respect. # The Importance of Protecting Your People The statement "if you don't protect your people, you don't deserve their respect" highlights a fundamental principle of leadership and community. Here’s a deeper look into why this idea is so significant: # 1. Understanding Protection Protection can take many forms, including: - Physical Safety: Ensuring a safe environment for individuals to thrive. - Emotional Support: Providing a supportive atmosphere that fosters mental well-being. - Advocacy: Standing up for the rights and needs of individuals within a group. # 2. Building Trust and Loyalty When leaders prioritize the safety and well-being of their people, they cultivate an environment of trust. This trust is essential for: - Team Cohesion: Individuals are more likely to collaborate and support one another when they feel secure. - Increased Morale: A protected environment boosts confidence and motivation among team members. # 3. Respect as a Two-Way Street Respect is reciprocal. Leaders who demonstrate care and protection earn respect in return. This relationship is vital for: - Effective Leadership: Leaders who listen to their people and act in their best interests foster loyalty and respect. - Sustainable Relationships: Mutual respect leads to long-lasting relationships within teams and organizations. # 4. Consequences of Neglect Failing to protect your people can have serious repercussions: - Erosion of Trust: Once trust is broken, it can be challenging to rebuild. - High Turnover Rates: Individuals may seek environments where they feel valued and protected. - Decreased Productivity: A lack of support can lead to disengagement and lower performance. #5. Actionable Steps for Leaders To embody the principle of protecting your people, consider the following actions: - Listen Actively: Regularly solicit feedback and genuinely listen to concerns. - Create Safe Spaces: Foster an environment where individuals feel safe to express themselves. - Provide Resources: Ensure access to mental health resources, training, and support systems. - Lead by Example: Demonstrate protective behaviors in your own actions. #Conclusion In conclusion, protecting your people is not just a moral obligation; it is a cornerstone of effective leadership. By prioritizing their safety and well-being, you cultivate an environment where respect flourishes, ultimately leading to greater success for everyone involved. Leaders can ensure the safety and well-being of their people through several key strategies: 1. Promote a Safety Culture 2. Lead by Example 3. Provide Resources and Training 4. Encourage Open Communication 5. Recognize Safe Behavior Implement incentive programs to reward adherence to safety practices 6. Continuous Improvement: Regularly evaluate safety practices and make necessary adjustments based on feedback and incident reports.

Leadership isn’t for cowards. Being a leader isn’t just about making decisions or giving orders. It’s about having the courage to protect and empower your people. This means: • Creating a space where they can thrive without fear • Standing up for them when they need you most • Taking the heat, even when it’s uncomfortable • Fighting for their resources and well-being • Shielding them from toxic behavior But let’s be real — too many leaders fail here. They avoid conflict, shift blame, and let their team bear the consequences. And that’s exactly why they lose loyalty, trust, and motivation. True leaders do the opposite. They have the guts to: ✅ Defend their team from outside pressures. ✅ Protect them from their own worst habits (overwork, burnout, and saying "yes" to everything). ✅ Call out toxic dynamics — and course-correct fast. When your team knows you’ll fight for them, They’ll fight with you — hard and willingly. Your job as a leader isn’t to avoid tough situations. It’s to step up, have hard conversations, and put your people first. Do you have the courage to be this kind of leader? ♻️ Repost to inspire leaders to do better. Leaders should be trustworthy towards employees and protect the employees which is the biggest asset of the company. Sad to see some people don't get it and they sit back and wonder why the company employee turnover is so high.. the answer is within not outside. Irrespective of age or gender its fundamental fact to resepct, understand and create a good working culture for employees. 💯 with Eric Partaker

Leadership is an art. in my opinion, leadership is a two way relationship between both the leader and the team. It is a partnership rather than a top-down directive. Understanding, balancing are the two most important element inside. Actually the goal is only one that is to touch the final 🎯, within the most effective, efficient way, speaks to the strategic side of leadership that aims to minimize wasted effort while maximizing impact. Understanding and balancing means that both the leader and the team work together as one, moving forward in unity, in term of speed, know how, same path and same target. , Micromanage is a two face blade, One is to put everything on track, so that we are on the same pages in the term of frame time, task arrangement and speed of work, I think this is positive and needed till everything go mature. Although it quite has the same meaning as micromanage but more to be assistance and guidance. There is no trust issue in this level, it is a tool to guide and support, given to make sure the team can perform in their best version without spending too much time to experience setbacks. Overtime, as the team grows and gains experience, reducing this level of oversight respects their autonomy and fosters trust, allowing them to reach their full potential with confidence. the 2nd has negative meaning, which is over controlling or not believing. Mindset also play important part in it. Positive mindset will make it work more effective. ~JSW 4Nov24 #sharingpositivevibesonly

THEY ARE BORN. Yes, loudly. Like everything else Non-trivial, Non-mediocre, Non-synthetic, Instinctive, Original, Non-everyonecando.. One doesn;t need to think like: "how to be something or like someone". We all could try Not Caring about: → Books, Definitions, General content or messages. → Someone’s own specific experience or realizations for their very own goals-interests-needs. → Learning something synthetically or without a Pressing Need in one’s natural course of life, ways to goals that matter for one. → What others are doing, saying, suggesting, learning, chasing. BUT on: → Knowing self → Being clear on How one wants to Die as (from the day we are born, we are dying in bits. inching towards death) → Setting DEATH as TOP GOAL, planning-doing things accordingly → Doing Whatever is Needed in That Journey to Death. 1 top thing we need in modern modern age (times, lifestyle, ways): “Not looking outside. Going inwards rather”. Not referring, reading, looking, studying.. without a compelling need in our own specific quests, goals (that matter to us). Everyone is born to succeed by death, the endline. It's designed that way. The best one can do from early on, even before going to a mid-school, is trying to get a preview of The Way to Death, Having a Life Vision. Even from today till death. The greatest investment would be finding that and setting the sail towards aligned near term milestones leading to the next → to next.. → finally to DEATH (a life well-lived, doing whatever was needed whenever). Everyone became, acted as a leader at some point in the Journey to Death. Goal (that matters, relatively meaningful) is the greatest guru one needs. Death is the Greatest of all Goals for Humans. All could try Dying Better.
