Superinnovators’ Post

China just unveiled a speedy 2 cm long insect bot with legs. BHMbot weighs 1.76 g can achieve a running speed of 17.5 BL s−1 (Body Length per second). Power consumption of 1.77 W. There is still a way to go to mimic nature fully though: the maximum running speed of a Californian mite (Paratarsotomus macropalpis2) can be up to 192.4 BL s−1.
