We are proud to announce that RS has been ranked 82nd in the Top 100 Apprenticeship Employer Awards 2024, from over 8,000 large employers. The rankings celebrate England’s outstanding apprenticeship employers, recognising their commitment to creating new apprenticeships, the diversity of their apprentices, and the number of apprentices who successfully achieve their apprenticeships. First compiled in 2020, the prestigious annual employer rankings have been developed by the Department of Education, in partnership with High Fliers Research, who independently assess and rank the nation’s top apprenticeship employers. What do Britons think about apprenticeships? ✅ Positive about prospects ❓ Sceptical about salaries Those were the findings of the Ipsos #nationalapprenticeweek survey on #apprenticeships earlier this year. From us, if apprentices are to be the key to bridging skills gaps in vital industries, those enticing them will need the finances to match the rhetoric. However, outside of salary, work to put apprenticeships on a level footing with degrees, improved apprenticeship delivery, and diverse apprenticeship options up to Level 7 are having a positive impact on society's view of apprenticeships. 🤔Can apprenticeships promote social mobility in the UK? Although university is an obvious choice for most, for many it feels like something that’s not for them.
