Workforce Planning Hamilton is one of Hamilton’s leading voices in labour market research and analysis. Their data and research provide evidence-based insights into labour market supply and demand. This team is part of the extensive network of organizations that constitutes Hamilton’s workforce development ecosystem.
This ecosystem was key in Economic Development’s creation of a city-wide workforce strategy was the result of more than 270 engagements with a range of stakeholders across priority sectors, including: employers, jobseekers, community organizations, post-secondary institutions, municipal leaders, and business associations.
Anticipating a changing labour market is part of Hamilton’s plan to be at the forefront of a long-term and team-based approach workforce planning, talent attraction, and talent retention.
