It is imperative that we educate both employers and employees about this stage of life. So many valuable experienced staff are being lost due to lack of correct information about menopause. Speaking from experience knowledge is power, it gives you a sense of choice and empowerment. That is why I deliver workshops and training to forward thinking, caring companies to make sure that the correct facts, not the fiction are given to the people that need it the most. Please contact me directly if you are interested in staff retention and wellbeing. @menopausefact.notfiction #menopausefact.notfiction @newsonhealth @nhmenosociety #menopausewellbeing #staffretention #staffwellbeing #menopausesupport #menopauseadvice

The topic of women's health support in the workplace is so fascinating to me. It is great to see the amount of discussion increasing as we dive into areas that have not gone very deep before. One such topic is Menopause (and perimenopause) in the workplace. In these discussions it is amazing how small things can make such a big impact on the female employee. But there is still more to know when it comes to the challenges in the workplace to institute support. So, for my employer friends, if you don't mind can you tell us what you're encountering? We really hope to develop insights from these survey results that can help you with the challenges or goals you have. #menopause #employersurvey #workplacesupport

Why does it feel so difficult for managers to have conversations about menopause? Managers in organisations have conversations all the time with members of staff about other health challenges. So why does it feel so hard to have a conversation about menopause? Of course it can feel a bit more private, a bit more personal, it may feel embarrassing to talk about but that works equally for the manager and the member of staff. So, what can managers do · Actively listen – understand the impact for that individual · Managers do not have to diagnose menopause · Managers already have the skills and tools to support their colleagues When you manage people, you manage menopause, so let’s start making conversations about it normal. #menopause #menopauseatwork

This is one of the many projects we did for the NSW Government! 🌟 In this animated video, we looked into the natural phases of perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause, shedding light on the changes every woman experiences. From irregular menstrual cycles to navigating symptoms like hot flushes and mood swings, this video aims to empower and inform. As someone who values open dialogue, I'm curious: What strategies have you found helpful in navigating perimenopause and menopause in your personal or professional life? #MenopauseAwareness #WomenEmpowerment #PunchyDigitalMedia
