In December, as we experience shorter days and longer nights, it's important to focus on mental health. Trintellix (vortioxetine) is a medication used to treat major depressive disorder, offering hope to those who struggle with depression. It works by affecting certain chemicals in the brain that may be unbalanced. While Trintellix can be a vital part of a treatment plan, its cost can sometimes be a barrier. The Rx Advocates are here during this winter season to help. Through patient assistance programs, we aim to make Trintellix more accessible and affordable, helping you navigate through the winter months with better mental health support. #Trintellix #MentalHealthAwareness #DecemberWellness #RxAdvocates #DepressionTreatment #WinterBlues #PatientAssistance #MentalHealthMatters #BrighterDays #EmotionalWellbeing

🧠 May is Mental Health Awareness Month, a crucial time for fostering understanding and dismantling the stigma surrounding mental illness. Mental well-being is an integral component of overall health. 💬 Whether it's checking in on a friend, practicing self-care, or seeking professional support, every action counts. According to the World Health Organization, 1 in 4 people globally will grapple with mental or neurological disorders at some stage. In the United States, one in five adults confronts mental illness annually, with suicide ranking as the tenth leading cause of death. It's imperative to advocate for accessible resources, destigmatize conversations, and prioritize mental health support to ensure everyone can seek and receive the assistance they deserve. Let's foster a more empathetic and supportive environment for mental well-being. 💚 #MentalHealthAwareness #EndTheStigma #MayisMentalHealthAwareness #ADDSOLUTIONS #Wellness #YouMatter #globalhealth #Innovation #Selfhelp

Mental health does not discriminate, but sadly, access to mental health care often can. July is Minority Mental Health Awareness Month, which highlights the specific mental health challenges and needs of the historically underserved. Unique stressors such as racism can contribute to a heightened sense of fear and anxiety, creating bias and barriers to well-being that many communities of color face daily. We have a responsibility to bridge these gaps. We are proud to work closely with community-based organizations across the nation to provide mental health screenings, services, and care that are culturally sensitive and accessible. These collaborations also offer depression screenings at no cost to patients, because we believe mental health care is a right, not a privilege. Patients can also visit select MinuteClinic locations and schedule virtual appointments in select states, where licensed mental health professionals can screen for and diagnose depression, as well as provide counseling and create personalized treatment plans to address feelings of stress, anxiety, grief, depression, and more. Together, we can create a world where mental health support is inclusive and where the health and well-being of every individual is prioritized. #MinorityMentalHealthAwarenessMonth
