According to the Mental Health UK Burnout Report 2024, 35% of workers don't feel comfortable talking about stress and mental health with their managers. What’s more, nearly half (49%) say their employer doesn’t have a plan in place to spot the signs of chronic stress and prevent burnout in employees. Through the Association of Mental Health First Aiders®, we support MHFAiders®, long after their training, to raise awareness and understanding of mental health stigma within their workplace. 🌍 World Mental Health Day 2024 🌍 Today serves as an important reminder of the significance of mental well-being. Whether you're a healthcare professional, leader, recruiter, or anyone balancing life's demands—taking care of your mental health is essential. In the fast-paced world we live in, it's easy to overlook self-care, but today, let’s pause and reflect on how we can make mental health a priority. 🌱 To our fellow nurses, healthcare professionals, and colleagues—remember that you can't pour from an empty cup. It's okay to seek support, take breaks, and set boundaries. Let’s continue the conversation beyond today and advocate for a world where mental health is valued just as much as physical health. 💚 #MentalHealthMatters #WorldMentalHealthDay #SelfCare #HealthcareProfessionals #MentalWellness #TakeCareOfYou
