By combining individual situational coaching with components of self-leadership in an environment where employees feel psychologically safe, successful and empowered future leaders are built - Multigenerational communities are powerful drivers of change, fostering diverse perspectives and empathy. Easy ways to implement these in the workplace are through resource groups, reverse mentoring and cultural team building activities - AI: Threat or catalyst? Zurich's Zubair Siddiqi and Anuja Shah shed light on using AI to enhance organizational efficiency and provided a refreshing perspective of AI brightening the future of work (Kudos to Zurich Insurance who have implemented loads in this space in the region!) And my personal favourite, participating in an interactive workshop with Charlie Swan, showcasing the positive impacts or consequences that a developmental conversation with employees can have when approached with different views: effectively or defensively. Substantially different outcomes – I’d recommend anyone in Leadership/management to get trained on having effective conversations! All in all - a great day of learning and networking.
