He said, "You're not some charlatan on the Internet." Do you take breaks and get outdoors? Yesterday, I took a walk in the local George Washington State Park and Campground in Glocester, Rhode Island. This park has a fascinating history. In the 1960s, an Australian naval unit waited for their ship, the HMS Perth, to be completed in Newport. During their stay, they created a trail system in honor of Aboriginal culture, called the Walkabout Trail. Afterwards, I had a meeting with an old friend interested in investing. I enjoy meeting people and helping to raise awareness about real-estate investing. Yesterday, I learned, "Pete, you're doing it, and I know you; you're not some charlatan on the Internet." Trust is hard to build. I've known Walter Steere for more than 20 years. So remember, it takes time, and you may be seen as some charlatan on the Internet at first. Cool story. We will have to walk it sometime.
Nothing better than a walk in the woods
It's good to get past the "some charlatan on the internet" phase. I love this phrase btw. And I also love the phrasing of raising awareness about real estate investing. Because sadly, there are so few people who know about this awesome investment vehicle! Keep doing it!!
It's always valuable to connect with people who share your interests and help raise awareness about investing. And, it’s great that you have a solid foundation with your friend, 🌴Peter Turner🏍️.
Thanks for sharing this thoughtful message, and for the reminder that trust, once earned, is invaluable.
😀 We met via LinkedIn (the Internet) and it was great to connect in person at BEC. So I am glad you were on the Internet. 😀
It sounds like you had a fulfilling day!
