📌 Attention Amazon sellers! 🔎💼 The secret to winning the SEO game isn't just about ranking high for your top keywords. It's about maintaining that rank and evolving with the ever-changing landscape. Consider this: You're ranking well. Sales are booming. But suddenly, you notice a drop-off. Not just for one week, but two. 📉 Here's what you need to do: 1️⃣ Monitor your sales, rank, and conversion on a weekly basis. 2️⃣ If there's a consistent drop-off, take a deep dive into your data. 3️⃣ Has your ranking dropped? Identify the keywords that are lagging. If it's one of your top main keywords, brace yourselves for some changes. Tweak that keyword within your product title and the bullets. 🎯 And if it's a secondary keyword? The one that's not as important? Don't rush to change the title. Look at the crawlable text on the page, and also the alt tags. Remember, SEO isn't a sprint. It's a marathon. 🏃♂️ You need to give your changes time to take effect. We often see an immediate bump within 24 hours, but it's crucial to wait at least two weeks before making any further changes. This approach helps you avoid false positive signals and prevents you from being overly reactive. And one last thing: Never change your top keywords if things are going in the right direction. Often, your listing content is 80% optimized—but if it hasn't been updated in two years, it's likely missing relevant, current search terms.
