What is an Academic Health Department, and why does the Inland Empire need one? This isn't a novel idea--these departments do exist, but not here in the IE. An academic health department is constructed through MOUs with public schools and departments of public health to offer more training and job opportunities. It's a structure to help schools and health departments and community partners work more cohesively together. The intent is to ensure good communication and linkages so anyone in a public health program in an educational setting will have meaningful experiences with a department that will encourage them to stay local, and share their local expertise and advocacy for their neighborhoods and cities. Many of our students don't feel tied to staying here, and we lose them to other counties. We want to build these relationships to help the students understand that not only do we want and need them, but we have really great opportunities for them here in the IE. #AcademicHealthDepartment #InlandEmpire #PublicHealthEducation

Is using the restroom a privilege? A Bathroom Break for Teachers: An Institutional Ethnotheatrical Inquiry Jonathan M. Coker from the University of South Florida dedicated 188 pages to this topic. https://lnkd.in/g47UAwbt Even with someone in my room, breaking away to go to the bathroom is challenging due to my teaching responsibilities. However, it leads to health problems and makes it harder to focus on tasks. As a teacher: ✅ Can you go any time during the day? ✅ Do you have someone in your room that can cover for you? ✅ Do you need to call the office to get someone to cover your class? Exiting teachers/transitioned teachers: ✅ Was this one of the deciding factors for leaving? Please tag other teachers, existing teachers, and transitioned teachers in this post. https://lnkd.in/gpP_Eiym #teachers #health #education #teaching #InspireEDSolutions#innovativeincubatofeducation#beacon #swissarmyknifeofeducation

What are the differences between Public Policies and Public Services? Public services are fundamental activities for the quality of life of society and governments have the obligation to carry out and monitor these services. The term is associated with the consensus that certain services should be available to everyone regardless of income, physical or intellectual capacity, such as: education, health, public transport, urban planning. Public services are permanent and regular. Public policies, even those that are permanent such as education, have campaigns and phases of greater or lesser investment. Public policies are broader and have different fronts of action and programs. Public service can integrate a set of public policy actions. Our professionals specializing in Public Policy & Public Administration Reform have worked at the highest levels of government, advising on policy development, implementation, and evaluation. #PublicPolicies #publicservice #SocialDevelopment #PolicyDesign #PolicyImplementation #PolicyMonitoring #ProgressAndResult

With patience, and the diligence of forces that are lying inside of my mind. My question is to those who are determined to effect change in the things that are most important to the sustainability, and the evolution of life. … As a Health care professional, I am in belief that our job is to educate the masses. … Therefore, we as a society who prides itself on being afforded the right to choose what (we want )and who (we want to be) and how (we want) to contribute to humanity; this is all a matter of personal choices. … After all, ask yourself? What is the difference between them (uneducated) and us, the educated people? The difference is that we have the ability to change lives through education, but the majority of educated people are not prepared or willing to do the down on the ground in the community showing compassion and support for those who have lost their way, only because of a lack of educating themselves, therefore, we the educated must populate all available resources with our presence to give more compassionate pleas to the masses that will help them build character and self esteem while understanding the importance of education (educating themselves) in order to make better decisions based upon their educational learning. … REMEMBER THAT YOUR HELP IS NEEDED EVERYWHERE. … IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TOO. … GIVE BACK THE REAL DOLLARS THAT REALLY COUNT. … (Time, Effort, Will, and Love with Energy). These are the real dollars; now let us go out, and give them to the people. … Respectfully, Michael N. Blackman - Founder/CEO We Care First of Philadelphia LLC 22 South. 22nd Street Suite 1715 Philadelphia Pennsylvania,19103-3021

Bringing Health and Education to Slum Communities In many parts of our cities, people living in slum areas face daily challenges. Limited access to clean water, basic health care, and quality education makes life even harder for them. These are issues that we can no longer ignore if we want a fair and equal society. That’s why we’re starting an initiative to bring health services and education to those who need it the most. Why Health and Education? Health and education are two essential building blocks for a good life. Without good health, children and adults can’t work, learn, or grow. Without education, children miss out on opportunities to improve their lives and contribute to society. These basic needs are everyone’s right, no matter where they live. Let's hear more on this crucial topic through public opinions with The Project White Flag.

Estate planning is essential for recent college graduates to ensure their affairs are managed in case of incapacity, even if they lack substantial assets. Graduates should have an incapacity plan, including a General Durable Power of Attorney, Advanced Health Care Directive, and HIPAA Authorization for Release of Protected Health Information. These documents allow a designated person(s) to handle financial, legal and medical decisions, preventing the need for costly conservatorship. Planning early helps young adults live independently while securing their future in unforeseen circumstances. #incapacityplanning #collegegraduates #estateplanningprofessional
