What are the differences between Public Policies and Public Services? Public services are fundamental activities for the quality of life of society and governments have the obligation to carry out and monitor these services. The term is associated with the consensus that certain services should be available to everyone regardless of income, physical or intellectual capacity, such as: education, health, public transport, urban planning. Public services are permanent and regular. Public policies, even those that are permanent such as education, have campaigns and phases of greater or lesser investment. Public policies are broader and have different fronts of action and programs. Public service can integrate a set of public policy actions. Our professionals specializing in Public Policy & Public Administration Reform have worked at the highest levels of government, advising on policy development, implementation, and evaluation. #PublicPolicies #publicservice #SocialDevelopment #PolicyDesign #PolicyImplementation #PolicyMonitoring #ProgressAndResult

PM needs to talk to his PR to sort this out for next time. They are not above us. They are in that position because they said they can fix matters. We, as the taxpayers, are the owners of this country, and they are our employees called public servants. So next time, ensure your cameras are at the same level or above you. Also, why have you not told all these before the election? Instead, you told us all that you have a rock solid budget and know how to fix the economy, education, health, and mostly housing and crime in this country, more like immediate effects. What you are proposing now next, which is 6 years, anyone can do that. So does this mean we will not see any improvements in the next three years? What is this government action for the next three years not just saying it will get better in 6 years? So far, nothing is better in the country instead of all going down the hill. It's all talks, no actions. They just love social media these days yet always complain about media. As a taxpayer, I want to feel and experience the improvement of our services, not hear what it will be like. This has been like this with the last government and government before, which was National. It's talking and selling dreams at the end, like today, the people of our country suffer again and need to choose between food or rent money. #newzealandlife #learningculture #newzealand #newzealandbusiness #newzealandjobs
Our Government is bringing back public sector service targets, to focus our public sector on driving better results for New Zealanders in health, education, law and order, work, housing, and the environment.

Unsurprisingly, schools want more funding from a #newgovernment - which is a complex issue in itself. Even more difficult to solve though is the #recruitment and retention of teachers - the next most important issue schools identified that they wanted a new government to address in a recent NFER survey as reported by Tes and EyeOnLondon (https://lnkd.in/ejspyrTV). Some integrated and innovative thinking about how we recruit teachers, how we expect them to work and how we support them is needed. And then of course some action. Improving teacher quantity and quality will improve outcomes for learners and over time, has the potential to do more #levellingup than has been achieved through the billions of pounds invested in this #governmentpolicy to date. I hope a new government will take a long term approach to their support of schools. #teachersuccess #TSP #educationmatters
