Here are a few ways how I use AI: 1. Visual Creativity: With AI's assistance, the use of visual storytelling elements has become more accessible. From generating images without copyright infringement, to bringing ideas to life, AI serves as a medium for creativity, empowering us to convey narratives in engaging ways. 2. Editing Videos: With AI powered tools, video editing has become easier and more accessible to all; even for those without prior video editing skills. 3. Quick Doubt? Ask AI: GenAI-powered assistants are my go to when I want to find quick answers. Don’t want to scroll through pages on web search? Just want to understand how a certain thing works? GenAI is the answer. 4. Simplifying Complexity: Whether it's summarizing news articles or understanding the origins of the universe, AI can simplify it into easily consumable nuggets of information, thereby empowering us, even in this age of information overload. 5. Time Savers: A few years back I remember jotting down notes hurriedly during meetings as people spoke. Now, here we are in 2024, with AI summarising and jotting down action items to minutes of meetings right after the call. Definitely a time saver! 6. Understanding Analytics -Numbers may be the language of business, but behind every data point lies a story waiting to be told. With AI, we are on a journey of understanding, delving deep into the heart of metrics to uncover narratives that could drive our success. It helps uncover the stories these numbers reveal, and using those insights to guide decisions and shape strategies. 7. Error Detection: In a world that never stops moving, the pressure to deliver flawless content can feel overwhelming. But amidst the rush, AI is your personal editor with an eagle eye for detail, sifting through words, catching grammatical errors and typos. AI communication is evolving, but it's sometimes missing human touch. Here's how I use the Emotion Wheel to change that. Developed by psychologist, Robert Plutchik, the Emotional Wheel is a detailed map of human feelings. It helps me craft AI prompts that strike a more empathetic tone with my audience in two ways. This works especially well on longer format content or for outputs such as video or audio scripts. 👉 1) Tailored Tone: Different emotions demand different tones. I use the wheel to adjust AI’s tone of voice. For instance, if I want to to inspire trust and confidence, I incorporate terms and phrases associated with these emotions to finetune prompts and hit the right notes. 👉 2) Storytelling: Storytelling is emotional alchemy. With the wheel, it's easier to craft narratives that resonate. A dash of sadness, a pinch of anticipation— and I can control the output of AI so that it's more nuanced and empathetic. 🚀 When I create prompts I mostly like to use this structure: role > goal > context > tasks > best practices > output I usually add the emotional guidance in the context stage, along with other references. Sometimes I'll iterate the initial output in the style and tone of specific authors, comedians, and other artists or creators to finetune the tone.
