One thing I swore I’d do differently. Everything. Look one of the perks of starting your own brokerage is getting to change the things that you didn’t always align with. And that was a big one for me. I was unwilling to compromise on my values. And didn’t like how some brokers along the way handled situations. I vowed to be different and do it my own way. Our team structure is different than most. And I love that about it. When I think back on what we are known for, how we shaped the client experience I literally get goosebumps with pride. Uphold Professionalism: Even in challenging situations, staying true to your professional standards is key. This not only protects your business but also strengthens your reputation over time. In the fast-paced world of business, it’s important to remember that not every client relationship will be the right fit. And that’s okay. By setting clear boundaries and knowing when to step back, you create space for the right opportunities to come your way. 𝐌𝐨𝐧𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐰𝐭𝐡 There’s nothing quite like starting the week with our Monday morning meeting at my brokerage Coldwell Banker Mountain Central. I value these sessions enormously since they are packed with very useful industry related information: market trends, neighborhood updates, and key strategies that help me better serve my clients. Every single time I leave these meetings, I feel more empowered, ready to take real estate to the next level. It doesn’t matter what industry we are in—we always have to grow, evolve, and make it better. I’m a strong advocate for constant growth and learning, and these meetings are a huge part of that for me. Learning how to negotiate, discovering new ways to elevate the client experience, and soaking in the wealth of knowledge from our broker and industry professionals is what makes these sessions invaluable. I wouldn’t trade them for anything! It’s no secret that I absolutely love learning directly from the source. Having that accessibility, support, and guidance at my fingertips makes all the difference. A huge thank you to Rob Vanovermeire for putting a lot of effort into these weekly meetings! I GIVE UP….. It was our final GBTA | Ladders presentation yesterday, a culmination of 6 months’ hard work, and I think I said those words to my teammate about halfway through the process! I couldn’t quite get my head around our idea; our team was scattered across the world and things just didn’t seem to be working. We had a choice to make… get it together and start working as a team or give up…. we chose the first one ! · We started to speak openly and challenge the ideas, giving greater depth and understanding to our proposition. · Our weekly calls spilled over into one and one side meetings where we discussed challenges, or ideas we were trying to understand in more detail. · The team played to our strengths and focused on areas where they had natural ability. · We helped each other when we were struggling and made sure we looked after one another. Taking the time to listen. · And dare I say it we even started to have fun, laughing at what we did at the weekend and making jokes at our own expense. 🌍 Through perseverance and teamwork, despite initial challenges and geographical distances, our team transformed adversity into success by fostering open communication, collaboration, and support, culminating in the creation of "LOYALTY WITH IMPACT," a sustainable travel initiative that exemplifies the power of radical collaboration. 💡 I learnt that the path to success is often paved with setbacks and challenges but it is your approach to them and your determination that matters. That everyone has different strengths and working as a team requires emotional intelligence and compassion. #sustainabletravel #loyalty #businesstravel. 🚀 We will wait to see if we get through to the final 4 teams but huge THANK YOU to GBTA | Ladders for a EPIC experience !
