You‘ve got your coffee in one hand, mouse in the other, and your determination hat on. Your mission? Plan the ultimate getaway. But as you tumble down the Google rabbit hole, you realize you‘re in for a wild ride. Who knew researching best beaches could lead to a crash course in Caribbean culture? Let‘s make this journey a little less chaotic, shall we? If you’re planning a galavant to St. Lucia in the near future, here’s how I can help: → Giving your clarity on where to go, and when, and how much time to spend at each place. → Laying out our itinerary and getting everything booked so you don’t have to go down the rabbit hole. → Tailored suggestions and personalization → Hands on support along the way and tailored suggestions You keep sipping the coffee, but slide that to do list right on over here so I can get that trip planned for you. Send me a message.

…Adventure included, unfortunately we already have that before the journey begins. But that's not the adventure we want... Last year we booked a trip for 3 couples to Antarctica on the MS Maud in January 2025. For 3 couples we have to coordinate the date a year in advance. Four weeks ago, we were informed that the trip had unfortunately been cancelled and that we would be rebooked on another ship departing from Buenos Aires. We only got this message and a new booking. This booking doesn't work for us because we have already booked our flights and have a time frame. The first time, it was impossible to reach anyone by phone or directly by email to discuss the alternatives. No communication.... We asked for an alternative offer to secure our flights and also the cost of the refund for HX. Initially we got an offer with extra cost for us as our booked cabin class on MS Maud was still available. After our intervention, HX offered us a "price match" for MS "Fridtjof Nansen". This means for us: a 5 day shorter trip in the same cabin class for the same price as 17 days.... "Price adjustment"? What about the missing 5 nights that we now have to organise and pay for ourselves? We asked for a fair refund for the missing nights. Nothing there... HX only covers the cost of the flights from Santiago de Chile to Buenos Aires and back. In this constellation, HX saves the high costs for cancelling the flights (4x Premium Economy, 2 Business). And we have to pay... Do you see the mistake? We booked an expensive trip that was supposed to be unique for us. Now the trip will be much more expensive and we are less happy. Unfortunately, we had already read this on the Internet in advance, but trusted that HX is a reliable partner for these trips, unfortunately we were disappointed.
🚨 Adventure is all-inclusive with HX! 🚨 As part of a phased approach, starting with Antarctica & Galápagos expeditions departing in October 2024, we will be introducing an ‘all-inclusive’ offering as standard across the whole fleet from November 2024, covering all destinations. Alex Delamere-White, HX Chief Commercial Officer, states: “We want our guests to fully embrace being curious travellers when they’re with us. By making things as easy as possible, they can focus on exploring remote parts of the world and learning from our expert team. We believe adventure should be all-inclusive, which is why our daily expeditions, talks and access to the science centre come at no extra cost, alongside delicious food and drink.” *For full terms and to find out more see here: https://ow.ly/2NcI50QUyGJ

We're taking our love for tiny living and giant adventures to a whole new level - we've decided to drive around the world (or at least one continent at a time) in our truck camper! 🌍 We get asked all the time, "But what about work?" Here's our reality: creating content, capturing moments, and sharing stories have always been our passion, but it's not the only thing we do. We wear many hats (figuratively and literally, because sun protection is key 😉). We've been juggling freelance gigs with some amazing companies that fill our workdays with diverse projects and learning opportunities. Thanks to the magic of Starlink, our 'office' now comes with unlimited scenic views. We can confirm emails amidst the mountains and have meetings by the sea. It's pretty wild to think we can keep doing what we love, working with incredible teams, all while crossing new horizons. This trip is a blend of our passion for exploration and commitment to our careers. It's about finding that sweet spot where work meets play, and proving that with the right tech and a solid internet connection, the world really can be your oyster (or office, in this case). We're so excited to bring you along on this epic road trip. We'll be documenting it all, sharing not just the postcard-perfect sights but the real, raw, and ridiculously funny moments that happen along the way. To our clients and colleagues, think of this as us just taking the remote work concept to its literal extreme. We're as committed as ever and maybe even a bit more inspired by all the new views. So here's to the open road, to embracing the unknown, and to all the stories waiting to be told. Stay tuned for updates, behind-the-scenes peeks, and maybe even some starlit workspace setups. It's going to be one heck of a ride, and we're just getting started. P.S. If you've ever wondered how to balance work with wandering, stay tuned. We're about to get a crash course in it, and we'll be sharing every tip and trick we learn along the way. 🌍💻
BIG ANNOUNCEMENT! For the last 2+ years, we've been prepping to take our overlanding adventures international. After driving 49 of the states in the USA + much of Canada, we've decided to combine our international travels and love for road tripping into one massive adventure: drive the world. We're taking it one day and one continent at a try and learning to explore this world a little bit slower in hopes of exploring places a bit more off the beaten path. https://lnkd.in/ddBpSTpJ
