I've just had the best customer experience, booking a driver/guide to escort us around Sri Lanka in December. All it took was one good web page and one good email, and I converted (£600 spend so not an amount I spend lightly on things I'm unsure about) I looked at 2 or 3 sites, all the others gave me niggles of doubt. This one didn't. I enquired (well-designed usable form ✅), got a personal email (fast) with every bit of info I wanted. Deal done. An object lesson in the value of good design, good content and thinking about what the customer WANTS. That is how you convert people fast, by putting them into a state of high confidence and trust.
