Dive into our CSR transformation sparked by 'Résolution', where audacity meets action! Taking part in this event, dedicated to CSR solutions in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, provided us with valuable information that reinforced our understanding of sustainable practices. Pierre Hurmic's inspiring speech about pushing boundaries and embracing transformation strongly resonated with our company's vision and values, particularly regarding audacity and our commitment to progress. To remember: 👉The importance of territorial anchoring to contribute to the area development and to better address social, environmental, and economic challenges, 👉Enriching exchanges with various stakeholders on circular economy and battery recyclability to adopt sustainable practices, 👉The employee mobility has emerged as a central theme, essential for achieving carbon neutrality by 2050, and improving quality of life and working conditions, 👉The commitment and proactivity of the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region, Bordeaux Metropole, and the various stakeholders present on sustainability issues. 💡Corporate Social Responsibility must be experienced by all employees, infused throughout the organization and practices, in order to establish a sustainable change. Thanks to everyone involved in such an insightful event! We're grateful for the opportunity to learn and grow together. 🙏 #CSR #RSE #Sustainability #CorporateResponsibility #SustainableDevelopment #Resolution2024 #bordeaux #nouvelleaquitaine

CSRD CSRD CSRD ... ah yes, more CSRD! I recently had the pleasure of attending #Produrable, the largest European forum for sustainability actors. If there is one thing that stood out clearly, it was the central role of the #CSRD, which emerged as the absolute protagonist of this year's event. ♻ To put things in perspective, over 60 conferences dedicated to the topic took place in just two days. With the scope of companies affected soon expanding to include SMEs, the demand for CSRD-related services has surged in recent years. 📶 Having worked on it so far mainly for CAC40-listed companies—the first to be impacted—I was surprised to see how many new players are trying to claim their share of this growing market. However, my impression was that many of the attendees were more like competitors sizing each other up than potential clients. 👀 It’s thrilling to witness first-hand such a radical transformation in the sustainability consultancy landscape. Yet, I can’t help but wonder how many of these newcomers will endure in the years ahead or, conversely, be absorbed by larger entities. 🤷♂️ The battle for survival has begun! ⚔

Great to be able to connect with some incredibly motivated and interesting Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership (CISL) course alumni and to hear from Dr Wayne Visser about how to move towards a vision of a Thriving economy. At this point in time it is so important to assess how we can "breakthough" - "thriving" here a framework for how innovation can take us from degradation to restoration of ecosystems, from depletion to renewal of resources, from disparity to responsibility in communities, from disease to revitalization of health, from disconnection to rewiring through technology and from disruption to resilience of infrastructure and institutions. Much to digest!

In honour of #GlobalRecyclingDay (18 March), our #ICCSydney team is proud to champion of sustainability – particularly in promoting sustainable means of gathering, an important trend identified in our RESPECT: Shaping Events for Success report delivered with McCrindle. Here’s a snapshot of the key findings related to this trend. From empowering clients to deliver sustainable events through the Environmental Sustainability stream in our industry leading Legacy Program to proudly participating in global initiatives like the #NetZeroCarbonEvents Pledge, ICC Sydney remains committed to reducing the environmental impact of our operations while also fostering community engagement and economic development. The Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists #ANZCA Annual Scientific Meeting featured sustainable and inclusive initiatives, like carbon friendly catering, biodegradable lanyards, dedicated recycling stations, digital signage and refillable water stations. ICC Sydney partnered with ANZCA to conduct a pre-event carbon footprint calculation, providing delegates the ability to opt into offsetting their carbon footprint, with almost half of their delegates participating and offsetting about 301.75 t CO2e.
