Green Heart Toastmasters Club of Luxembourg  Luxembourg • District 59 Green Heart Toastmasters Club of Luxembourg is President's Distinguished. What does it mean? Clubs that have achieved 9 of the 10 goals and meet the membership requirements. The Distinguished Club Program (DCP) was established by Toastmasters International as a general measure of club success. Each year the Distinguished Club Program recognizes club achievements in education, membership growth, club leadership and club communication. This measure is not the whole of what makes a club successful, but it does reflect the activities that required for success.

I had a great time at #AGANLT, sharing my thoughts on system conversions with Tim and Jason. The most important lesson from our panel discussion: make sure that you involve your cybersecurity team with your project. Why? Because they will make sure that your project does not end up in the news!

When you spend all your time behind your desk it's impossible to be a good business leader. There's only so much you can learn from the confines of your office. It's a big world out there, and when leaders insulate themselves from it they stop learning. That turns them into stale, stubborn and frankly irrelevant people who are doing a huge disservice to themselves, their companies and their customers. So given the option of staying behind my desk VS getting out there, I'll always pick the latter. Try to spend at least 50% of your time - Getting out there in the marketplace, - Talking to customers, - Building relationships, - Staying active, - And attending industry conferences, - Leadership summits, - And new skills building workshops. Because that's the only way you are going to stay relevant today.

Pleased to facilitate a session in District Leadership Training Seminar (DLTS) for club admin chairs, the young community #leaders of Rotaract Clubs at 17th Rotaract District Assembly. The session focused on the role of club admin chairs such as oversee committee functions, timely committee meetings and activities, coordinating committee’s work, reporting of activities to club board, and promoting fellowship among club members.
