🎉 This month, we celebrate the fourth year since Tiny News Collective’s own launch. 🚀 Originally a project of News Catalyst at Klein College of Media and Communication, Tiny News came out of conversations about what it would take to make it easier for news founders to launch an outlet, especially those without a lot of wealth or a well-connected and -funded safety net. Four years later, we now support 75 founders of 50 small news organizations in 25 states, plus the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico, in rural, suburban and urban communities across the country.
