#IssuedInPublicInterest for Amazon brands and sellers 📢🛒 As Prime Day approaches, a peculiar thing starts happening. 🤔 Around the D-12 mark (12 days before Prime Day), you start seeing an increase in traffic to your products. 📈 As you get closer to the big day, the traffic gradually creeps up until it suddenly zooms to nearly 2x the average just a couple of days before the event. 🚀 If that's not enough, you'll also notice an increase in add-to-carts as the event nears. 🛍️ But don't get your hopes too high just yet. It looks like I was too conservative. -$14.2 billion in sales -Over 200 million items sold by 3P sellers. -Amazon’s AI tool Rufus was used to help millions of shoppers make decisions. -Average order size was $57.97 -Massive drop in big-ticket items like TVs. -YOY growth of 11%. Some were predicting a soft Prime Day due to Target running their own deals and the growth of TikTok. That prediction turned out to be way off. America loves Amazon.
