A survey of 730 property professionals found that 76% believe technology has improved the UK property market. Property portals were seen as the most positive advancement, followed by property management and online conveyancing tools. However, digital services and chatbots for customer relationships were viewed as the least positive. A few words about why I think that proptech companies are not making it easy for us - the potential customers - to try out, explore and evaluate what they have to offer. Hiding innovation behind outdated licensing models and walled gardens of face-to-face sales processes does not do the industry any favours.
