Company(s) are rolling out Return to Office (RTO) policies, expecting a surge in productivity and collaboration. But are there data points which quantify the ripple effect on their partners who continue to work remotely? By focusing solely on in-office productivity, companies may overlook how RTO policies can inadvertently decrease productivity elsewhere. It's time to recognize that these decisions have broader implications beyond the immediate workforce. Perhaps a more holistic approach is needed—one that considers the interconnected lives of employees and their families. After all, supporting the entire ecosystem around an employee can lead to more sustained and genuine productivity gains for everyone involved. Hypothesis - Productivity 📈 at one organization might bring 📉 productivity at another organization OR might just leave an intangible impact to people's lives ..... thoughts?
