🖥️ Online product reviews are a lucrative (and broken) business . . . One dirty secret in digital publishing is that many outlets, big and small, spin up reviews of products they've never actually used . . . to earn affiliate revenue 💵. ✅ Get a ghostwriter to browse Amazon reviews to get an idea of what people think of the product, ✅ re-word those reviews a little, ✅ throw in some photos and affiliate links, and...voila. 🪄 🤖 And now, it's been revealed that some of the biggest health and fitness publishers are even using AI to write these guides. Hit a button and you've got an auto-generated gear guide, complete with $$$-making affiliate links. A new investigative piece by Futurism found that both Outside Online and Sports Illustrated have previously outsourced gear guide production to a company that relied entirely on AI to write the guides. Do you want to buy a pair of running shoes, or a yoga mat, based on a gear guide an AI writing tool has thrown together? At Marathon Handbook, every running shoe and piece of gear we review has been handled and tested by our in-house expert runners. So next time you're browsing the internet for your next purchase, look for signs that the person writing the review is a i) real, ii) someone whose voice you'd trust, and look for proof they've actually put their hands on the product. Digital publishing is going through a turbulent time with the advent of AI content and Google's controversial updates. I'm excited about what lies ahead, and can only think that brands who try to make a quick buck at the expense of their audience will ultimately lose out.

The opportunities offered by AI blow my mind! But in a SEO writing process, I don't want to blow my efforts to answer search intent and rank well by delivering poor quality content. With David Bain, I discuss the result of my testing an AI tool: - when to use AI and when not to use it (hint: ideation, not generation), - ethics: when do you tell your client that you are using AI, - legal: how to use your client's data [or not], - branding: impact of AI on tone and voice. Using AI tools definitely saves time ⏰ if used wisely (it is still just a tool). Test the tool yourself🔗 https://lnkd.in/e9_YJjnV 💙 Thank you Majestic for the warm welcome to participate to SEO IN 2024. Each year I enjoy talking with David (what an excellent host) and listening to fellow SEOs. https://lnkd.in/ekwPqQ5p

This has really been playing on my mind over the last week or so. What is the point of creating content? The usual response to this is “it helps establish you as knowledgeable about the topic and enables the prospect to see that you might be able to solve a challenge that they are facing” or something similar. There may of course be other reasons too “I want to stimulate engagement from my target market”, “I want to build brand recognition” or a dozen other things in a similar vein. But success requires two things to happen: 1. I need to write a piece of content. 2. You need to read that piece of content. Human nature is such that we are always looking for shortcuts. We are always looking for ways to enable us to do more work in less time and with regards to content Ai seems like the obvious choice here. Over the last year or so Ai has improved out of all recognition. It used to be able to do basic things but our expectations were low - rather like when you teach your dog to “sit” on command, it seems like an amazing achievement. More recently though Ai is actually doing things rather well. It can write reasonable articles and it can even produce podcasts on demand that are sometimes hard to distinguish from the real thing. But even if you still feel that the humanity is missing from Ai’s work that will no doubt change pretty soon and when it does the world will be a very different place So where does that leave us in sales and marketing. The fact that you can now create almost limitless amounts of content instantly (as can your competitors) the buyer is facing a veritable tsunami of content. Where once the amount of time taken for you to create a post/brochure/white paper was the thing that limited the number of these pieces in circulation. Now though, this barrier has been removed so why not create a white paper each day, or two per day…or one every 15 minutes… Whilst this might seem like a cool idea - microniched content, so much content that you are able to drown-out your competitors, so much content that the buyer can’t even find your competitors. The problem is though that your competitors will be trying exactly the same tactic. So now, the buyer will not need to read 10 articles they will need to read 100 or 1000. The problem is that they very thing that you were trying to solve - differentiation, visibility, recognition, trust, conversations - has in fact moved further from your grasp. There is a solution though, there is a huge win that will only get bigger. The answer will be, is and has always been…YOU. #socialselling #pipeline #digitalselling #salestransformation #sales

Content is King and Queen! Every Internet Business depends on it. But how do you keep churning it out while keeping your ideas fresh and flowing? I've found the perfect system. As a business owner, I’m always seeking tools that can amplify my efficiency and the quality of my work. Wealthy Affiliate’s AI AI-assisted content/article writer has emerged as a revelation in this arena. This innovative tool keeps my content sharp, relevant, and engaging. Imagine having an assistant who understands your industry's nuances and delivers expert insights and cutting-edge information. That’s precisely what the AI writer does – it continually scans for the latest trends and data, ensuring the content I produce is as timely as it is informative. The speed with which I can craft articles now is astonishing. The AI writer streamlines the entire process, trimming the time I usually spend on research and organization. In online business, time saved is money earned, and posts are indexed and ranked by search engines. But it’s not just about speed; it’s also about sustainability. Writing multiple articles simultaneously, a practice known as 'batching,' has become far less daunting. With AI’s help, I keep my content pipeline flowing and maintain a consistent presence in my niche, which is crucial for staying relevant and on the tip of the tongue among my audience. Aside from assisting in creation, the AI writer serves as a springboard for new ideas. It’s like a brainstorming partner that never tires, always ready to inspire with fresh perspectives and angles. For me, Wealthy Affiliate is the perfect platform. It: *hosts my websites *maintains them with world-class servers & security *provides a community (2.6 million) of experts/veterans who come to my aid immediately if I need advice. This allows me to chunk up and remain visionary to create all the content I need. Feel free to let me know if you need to know more. You can start a free account without a credit card, but I recommend Premium+, which has everything you need at your fingertips. It's like having a tailor-made command centre! I can show you around and refer you to help you get off the ground! PS: This image was created using my words with the help of A.I. Artists.

Can AI Blogs Transform Your Content Marketing Strategy Successfully? Answers: https://lnkd.in/ggRidNY4 #ContentMarketing #AIBlogs #DigitalMarketing Hey everyone! 🤗 I've been chatting with some friends and lurking on Reddit, and it seems like a lot of folks are diving into using AI blogs for content marketing. Tools like Wosily are popping up, allowing us to automatically generate and publish content. Has anyone tried this method? I'm curious if you've seen any real success from it. 🧐 Considering Google's recent guidance on AI content, it looks like they’re not totally against it. In fact, they might even be encouraging it to some degree. So, why not take advantage of this trend while it’s still fresh? 🚀 Here are some thoughts I have: Efficiency: AI can help streamline your content creation process, which is a big win for busy entrepreneurs. Cost-Effective: Instead of hiring multiple writers, leveraging AI might cut down your budget. SEO-Friendly: If it’s done right, AI blogs can rank well and bring organic traffic. 💡 That said, I know there are pros and cons to everything. It’s important to: ...

To optimize your content and use AI to save time, regularly ask yourself: ❓ Which content of mine resonated the most? ▪️ Did I get any new opportunities from any of my (recent) content? (or even old content that can be updated) ▪️ Which content got the most views, likes, comments, engagement, leads, opportunities, new clients, etc.? ▪️ Which content did I produce that I am most proud of and can help enhance my reputation? ❓ Then, for your BEST CONTENT, ask yourself: ▪️ How can this content (or parts of it) be re-crafted, repackaged, redrafted, or reused to help build my reputation, positioning, SEO, and brand, and/or add value to a client or referral relationship or act as a door opener to a new client relationship? ▪️ Could parts, sections, or segments of this content be used for another purpose or in another way? For example, -- For a speech or presentation, could it be edited into an article and published? -- Could an article be summarized for a blog post or redrafted into a presentation topic and submitted to an industry group or conference? -- Could a PowerPoint be summarized into a #linkedin post or a short video? ▪️ Who else/what other audiences might find this content helpful or useful as it is, or does it need edits, updates, or redactions? ▪️ Can I repurpose any of my videos, webinars or livestreams into short clips, checklists, posts, carousels, summaries, podcasts, audiograms, e-books or short print books? ▪️ If I run my text-based content through an AI platform, can it be summarized or re-worked? A few to consider using: Otter AI, TinyWow, ArticleRewriterTool or HeimingwayAop ▪️ Can I ask my assistant, marketing professional, or someone else to assist and work with me on this and take the lead on making edits/changes? If you do not already, make it a habit to RECORD on audiotape every (nonconfidential) speech or presentation you give by hitting “record” on your mobile (dictation io also works well for this) and putting it in your pocket or on the lectern. After your presentation, use AI to transcribe it so you can reuse or repurpose the content. Using LinkedIn Live is an incredible way to maximize your content since what’s said is transcribed and can be repurposed and reused in endless ways. Depending on how much content you produce, consider scheduling a recurring online meeting with yourself once a week, month, quarter, or year to remind yourself or your team to review your content to date. What are other ways to reuse, repurpose, and recycle content? #AI #linkedintips #productivity

🎙️ I recently had a fascinating episode with guest 😻 Maeva Cifuentes, founder of Flying Cat agency. Maeva shared valuable insights on the challenges and opportunities of using AI for SEO content creation. Key takeaways: 1. AI adoption for content creation is rapidly growing, with 44% of teams using it for less than six months. It's crucial to approach AI as a tool that requires human guidance and insight to sculpt content that aligns with your brand's voice and expertise. 2. While AI can assist with tasks like generating blog post outlines, keyword research, and topic ideation, it's essential to incorporate personal experiences and opinions to create unique, high-quality content that goes beyond what AI alone can generate. 3. As Google continues to prioritize expertise and context in its ranking algorithms, it's vital to use AI strategically to enhance your content creation process while maintaining a focus on originality, creativity, and subject matter expertise. 🎧 Check out the full episode for more in-depth discussion on the future of AI in SEO content creation and tips for leveraging this powerful tool effectively.
