Yesterday among other days I see people of the ecosystem protraiting this period as one of the best to become a Startupper. I am against sugarcoating and making everything easy to digest. So I will say that being startupper is hard and to be a successful one is extremely hard. Since pictures speak volumes I will draw you one. Becoming a startupper is like starting training for an IRONMAN and to have a successful exit is like qualifying for the IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP. Let that thought sink in.... Its not impossible but its takes grit, perseverance and the attitude of a shark. IF you dont feel like one, you are not but that doesnt mean you cant become one. Having a startup is a business that impacts the world. People in linkedin are trying to help you get in. IM the one telling you that NOONE should be able to stop you from getting in, the inner motivation should be that strong. IF you need help and reassurances to get in you are better off working for someone else's dream. #startup #mindset #Nosugarcoating #grit #dreambig #IM

Ever seen a honey badger take on a leopard? → that's your 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗮𝗹 𝗴𝘂𝗶𝗱𝗲. Just watched this 𝗶𝗻𝘀𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗼 of a honey badger fending off not one, but multiple leopards. It got me thinking about the startup game. You know what's wild? 𝗧𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻'𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝗱𝗼𝘄𝗻. It's got this mindset, this relentless drive, that says, "𝗜'𝗺 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘀𝘂𝗿𝘃𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴; 𝗜'𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴." → That's the spirit we need as founders. → When the world throws everything at you—market shifts, funding dries up, competitors circle like those leopards—𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝘃𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗹 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗴𝗲𝗿. Remember when Zuckerberg talked about Trump's defiance after getting shot? He said it was the most badass thing he'd ever seen. That's the honey badger energy. It's not just about fighting; 𝗶𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝘆𝘀, "No matter what, 𝗜'𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴." 𝗜𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗽 𝗷𝘂𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂'𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗹𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀. Maybe it's a product failure, a team falling apart, or investors pulling out. → But here's the thing—you've got to walk away from those battles, not just surviving but learning, growing, 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘅𝘁 𝗼𝗻𝗲. → This isn't just about being tough. It's about resilience, adaptability, and 𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗳𝘂𝘀𝗮𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗰𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁 𝗱𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁. It's about looking at every obstacle as a chance to show the world what you're made of. So, next time you're up against it, think honey badger. 𝗘𝗺𝗯𝗿𝗮𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, because on the other side of that struggle is where you 𝗳𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗵𝗼𝘄 𝘁𝗿𝘂𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗮𝗱𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗯𝗲. ~~~ Need help, 𝗴𝗼 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗯𝘀𝗶𝘁𝗲 and reach out. https://lnkd.in/dGz4WMG5 Highly recommended content for anyone starting a business! I've been following Y Combinator resources for about a year now. The top takeaway for me that It has cleared up some misconceptions I had about: - Market validation 🧐 - Building an MVP ⚙️ - Acquiring the first 100 customers - Generating and selecting ideas based on my skills and idea space (Product-Market-Founder-Fit)🏌♂️ What I feel I’m missing is turning these learnings into action. I hope one day to enroll in a program like this, surrounded by smart, like-minded people in a focused, intense growth environment Best of luck, Y Combinator —keep up the great work! 👍 For the readers, if you have any other interesting content about startups, please share. I’d love to keep learning from you. #Ycombinator #Growth #BusinessTips #TechStartups #Founders #StartupSchool #Entrepreneurship

🚀 Below is a map created by Y Combinator, one of the top startup accelerators in the world, backing many of the unicorns we know today. Take Slack for example: they didn’t land their first customer until 4 years of product development and iteration! 🔄 I’ve met several mentors who say that if you burn through your resources in just 6 months without landing a customer, you should shut down. 😬 🗝️ The key takeaway? Don’t listen to mentors who haven’t built companies themselves and walked through the process. Success comes from experience, not just theory! 📚 Listening to them is like learning to drive from someone who’s never been behind the wheel. 🚗💨 #StartupJourney #MentorshipMatters #LearnFromDoers #YCAccelerator #Entrepreneurship #StayTheCourse #BuildToLast

🔥 Welcome to the big leagues Building a startup is hard—the level of resilience required is crazy! Welcome to a world where being the most intelligent won’t save you. Coming from a top school isn’t enough (unless you have an amazing network from it), and having the best idea doesn’t guarantee success, even if you're solving a real problem. Yes, welcome to the startup world, where everyone will challenge you. You’re going to be tested at every level. People will quit on you, the lights will often be off, and yet you’ll still have to show up! The only things that matter here are consistency and resilience. You have to believe in yourself, even when everyone else gives up on you. This is what being a startup founder is all about. When you want to stop, remember why you started! Keep the same energy 💫 #startups

🚀 Why is no one talking about YCombinator's Startup School? I've attended countless programs—including incubation, acceleration, seminars, and local ecosystem workshops—but nothing compares to Startup School by YCombinator. This free online program on how to start a startup is truly transformative. I completed this program a while ago, and it has been a game-changer for my entrepreneurial journey. The course covers everything from getting startup ideas and building a great product to finding product-market fit, pitching your startup, raising money, building a team, growing your startup, and measuring success. Each module is packed with practical insights and real-world advice from founders/partners who have successfully built startups. The best part? You can learn at your own pace. In just 7 weeks, dedicating 1-2 hours per week, you can gain invaluable knowledge that you won't find anywhere else. You can also add your team members to the program! This way, you and your team can learn more about startups together. It's especially beneficial if your teammates are great at what they do but are experiencing the startup world for the first time. Whenever people ask me about startups and entrepreneurship, this program is my go-to recommendation. Learning directly from successful startup founders adds unparalleled credibility and practical insight. If you're serious about starting a startup, you need to check out Startup School. Don't miss out on this incredible opportunity! 🌟 #Entrepreneurship #StartupSchool #YCombinator https://lnkd.in/ewBn72rd

Hey, trailblazers and wisdom sharers! 🚀 Are you armed with skills that could transform a caterpillar startup into a butterfly unicorn? Then you're mentor material, and we need you in Fe/male Switch! Look, being a mentor isn’t just about sitting pretty on a panel, sipping overpriced coffee, and throwing out buzzwords like "disruptive" and "synergy." It's about rolling up your sleeves, diving into the trenches, and igniting that spark in a startup. And hey, it gets you more than good karma – it's a legit way to stack some cash. 💸 Sure, you’ll be guiding these startups with your seasoned know-how, all while watching your mentees crush their quests and rake in those wins. But also, lean in close, 'cause I've got a secret to spill... 🤫 SOMETHILEEKIT-NOT. Tuck that little Easter Egg safely in your Wallet’s egg receptacle, and voilà – enjoy your well-deserved reward. Mentors, you can bring up to five startups under your wing. The more they succeed, the thicker your wallet gets. It's the circle of startup life, and you're the Rafiki in this savannah. 🦁 But remember folks, your gig is about "learning," while those investor types are all about "earning." And in this game, playing the mentor is a walk on a tight Start the game: https://femaleswitch.com #meanceo, #gamepreneurship #startups #femalentrepreneur #fmsgameroles

4wKeep up the momentum. It's a marathon, not a sprint. We need to catch up in Thessaloniki to bring similar strong inner motivators together! There was a friend asked me recently: - Friend: Have you imagined when you were younger, even a kid, that one day you will lauch your own venture/startup? -Myself: Yes. Always. That was natural to me.
