"My business is everything. I love what I do and I can't stop, so I'm working crazy hours". Growing up, I never knew a relaxed woman* and working in business, I never met a woman who's not overworked. Last week I had a call with this superwoman, a tennis coach. She's been working 70-80 hours/week for the past year and a half. Every day since she's launched her business she's worked like this! "I love what I do and I can't stop, so I'm working crazy hours". I hear a variation of this statement on almost every call I have with a female entrepreneur. You could say that I'm attracting these people (well, they are my ideal client). Or you could say that it's the case just for those at the beginning of the journey. But there's data that supports my statement too. So it's not just the people I talk to. Here's what stats say: - The number of female-owned businesses tripled from 2018-2022 with a year-on-year average growth of just over 37% (sources: Tide.co, Money.co.uk). - Women in the UK work 60% more overtime than their male counterparts (Office of National Statistics). So women do work more. Now we have more women starting businesses. And also more women working more in their business. When do they have time to work ON their business? - I ask. When do they get to act as a CEO, to plan expansion, holidays and calculate profits and all that for sustainable growth? Answer: They don't. They don't have time to stop to think and analyse. They don't have time to gain clarity. And they start losing their confidence too. But they have ideas. They have the drive. They have the entrepreneurial force to move forward. They only need support in putting order in all that chaos. Then, the business takes off while they're able to work less. I see this all the time: After you regain the clarity and confidence you needed to become the CEO of your business, scaling gets simpler. And once you have clarity & confidence, you're no longer the employee of your own business. You become the CEO who's acting in alignment to grow a sustainable business. And my mission is to support all entrepreneurs, especially female entrepreneurs, go from overworked & underpaid to confident & clear with a simple and sustainable business growth strategy. Burnout is NOT Required to Build a Business🤔 Most women entrepreneurs have been taught you need to work hard to achieve success, you have to hustle to build a new business, or you need to work hard for a couple years to not have to work hard for the rest of your time in business... I believed and did all of the above☝️☝️☝️and all it got me was more burnout! The world is changing and women are beginning to take a stand on what they have been told is required to build a successful business! You see it all day every day on social media with people sharing their journey to success without the crazy hustle. Women are working smarter by using tech, tools & automations to streamline their business and bring in sales when they are not working! I have no idea who this woman is... she stopped me and asked for a selfie, who am I to say no? She's clearly impressed by the beard. She can't take her eyes off of me. I don't blame her. I had to remove the beard... it was becoming a drag. All these women... all of the time. And here's the thing... it's a bit like when you're running a business. You need to find that thing that attracts the right people to you. It's important if you want your business to be successful, it's important if you want to be happy in what you're doing. If you find you're attracting the wrong types of people, you need to change what you're doing. To remove that thing which is attracting those people. In this case, I removed the beard. It was a pest. It was attracting pests. What are you doing to attract the right people to your business?

5 MANAGEMENT TIPS FOR WOMEN WHO OWN BUSINESSES 1. You don't have to do it all. Don't be deceived by what you see online. No woman has ever gotten the award of the busiest woman. Search for “busy business woman” images online, and most of the pictures will feature a multi-armed woman juggling an infant, a frying pan, a cell phone, a computer, cleaning products, a briefcase, and smiling like she’s on drugs. Don’t believe that. 2. Done is better than perfect. Don't focus on being perfect. No woman, in fact, no human being is. Make sure business tasks get completed on time rather than waiting until they are perfect. 3. Keep your eyes on the finish line. What is your vision for your business? What will it look like in 10 years? What kind of business are you building exactly? Have it written down, so you can work towards it. 4. Take care of yourself. You spend so much time caring for your staff, family, etc. When will you take care of yourself? Make time for yourself to read, go for a massage, go to a go to a party, etc. Whatever you love to do,. Remember, you need to be alive to manage your business. 5. Structure your business. You can't build your empire alone. You need a great team of UNSACKABLE employees to help you build it. People who can deliver results even in your absence. Do it now, do it tomorrow, and make sure you structure your business. #TheSurgeon
