We were honored to attend the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation Wine & Roses Gala in Atlanta to support the fight against cystic fibrosis. This meaningful event is close to our hearts, as some of our own employees are directly impacted by cystic fibrosis. We stand with them and the CF Foundation in their mission to find a cure and improve quality of life for those affected. As a family-first company, we are committed to supporting our employees and causes that matter to them. This gala was an incredible opportunity to come together, share stories, and show our support for the CF community. #TheLumistellaCompany #Philanthropy

🧔 Movember is Here – Let’s Make a Difference! 🧔 This month, I'm joining the Movember movement to raise awareness for men’s health issues like prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health challenges. It’s not just about growing a mustache; it’s about making real change and opening up conversations around health that can literally save lives. 💙 Did you know: 1 in 8 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in young men. Every minute, a man dies from suicide. By participating in #Movember, we’re aiming to change these statistics. You can support the cause in many ways—whether that’s growing your ‘Mo, sharing knowledge, or making a donation to fund research and support services. Let’s make a real impact together. Join me in supporting men’s health this Movember by donating, sharing, or even growing your own mustache! #MensHealth #Movember #Movember2024 #MentalHealth #ProstateCancer #TesticularCancer #HealthAwareness https://lnkd.in/gS4bKhVQ

I could not be more proud of my mother Sonia Buist and the impact she has had on public health and global capacity building. This short video describes how seemingly small questions can make a huge difference and we can all play a role in making the world a better and healthier place when we do good things with what we have. Treat yourself to some positive inspiration by taking a quick look: https://lnkd.in/gVU6Pr6Z
A. Sonia Buist, MD, past president of the American Thoracic Society and advocate for global and respiratory health, donated $400,000 to the Society, making her the ATS’s highest lifetime donor in its history. In 1994, Dr. Buist founded the Methods in Epidemiologic, Clinical, and Operations Research (MECOR) program to address the limited opportunities for training in pulmonary, critical care, and sleep medicine in low—and middle-income countries. Please join Dr. Buist by making a donation of any amount to support MECOR at https://lnkd.in/e826h3_c https://lnkd.in/erCXmmqe #charity #globalhealth #MECOR #lmic #turkey #silicosis #womeninmedicine

It is Movember time!!!! Olivier Bourdeau, CPA Jonathan Harvey, CPA As we step into November, it's time to raise awareness for men's health issues through the Movember movement. This initiative focuses on critical areas such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, mental health, and suicide prevention. I’m excited to share that I’m participating in Movember this year by growing a mustache and raising funds to support this important cause. Every dollar counts, and your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of men facing these challenges. 💙 Why Movember? • Prostate cancer is the most common for men over 45. • Globally, we lose one man to suicide every minute of every hour of every day. • Testicular cancer is the most common cancer in men aged 15 – 34. • On average, men are dying 4.5 years earlier than women, and for largely preventable reasons. I invite you to join me in this fight. Please consider donating to my Movember campaign. Your support will help fund groundbreaking research and programs that save lives and improve the quality of life for men everywhere. #kpmgatlantic #movember #growamosaveabro #moveformovember #menshealthawarenessMovember
