Salaam & Peace Y'all: For those of you that like to invest into startups, early stage companies or founders... through time, resources or even if just wanting to volenteer because you really love the vision and want to be part of it.. I recommend you take a peek at what my good friend Tayyab Yunus says here. He gives a friendly reminder... a truly timely one... about the speed at which founders move.... I have had, by Allah's mercy, close to 100 people over the last two years that took part in our vision of a Muslim Collective... while I love and respect them as brothers / sisters in Islam - i will say that the primary concern I always have is that there is generally a lack of true understanding into the velocity at which people that are driven - RUN... This creates difficulty for all involved and can lead to delays. Furthermore - investors that are looking to invest in these companies need to also understand that some trust is critical - and doing what you can to facilitate the continued speed of the founder is important to the success of the endeavor as well as the mental sanity of the founder. Alignment in values, mission as well as drive and speed are critical. While the founder may need advice and help (which may be the reason for the required investment or help) - what they dont need is to slow down. Just a bit of advice from my own personal and very recent experiences. God Bless
