As we navigate an ever-evolving landscape, partnerships have become pivotal in driving significant change. This was highlighted in this insightful article on Civil Society for which I, among other colleagues in the sector, was interviewed and where I share my reflections. Gone are the days when partnerships were mere financial transactions. Today, they are about shared missions and mutual benefits - extending beyond mere financial gains to foster real societal impact. Strategic alliances showcase how deeply intertwined success is with aligning values and objectives between sectors. When organisations choose partners whose missions resonate with their own, they unlock incredible potential. Such collaborations not only amplify their impact but also ensure sustainability and adaptability amidst economic challenges. As we continue to face global challenges, from economic pressures to social disparities, the necessity for robust partnerships becomes even more apparent. For us at Macmillan Cancer Support it is about doing more with less, leveraging combined strengths to tackle complex issues that neither partner could address alone and partnerships will be key to our successful transformation. Together with Asphalt & Ink and in collaboration with the Luminate, we delved into the power of storytelling to ignite change. Our #study uncovered barriers hindering #collaboration between strategic communications firms, #donors, and change agents in #Kenya. Key findings reveal that collaboration amplifies change agents' impact on #policy and #behaviour. Funders play a pivotal role by supporting strategic #communications initiatives, and ensuring impactful work reaches audiences. Breaking silos is crucial; communication firms need exposure to change agents, who, in turn, should embrace strategic communication tools.
