New #mondaymessage (brief as always)! This morning one of my favorite podcasts, The Best One Yet covered billboards as one of there discussion points. I happen to love Jack and Nick but found this to be unbelievably misinforming. They opened by basically saying they don't see much value in billboards (find digital ad spend much more valuable). Then after a few cited examples and saying how the industry is growing finished by concluding from an awareness perspective they can see why companies would spend on billboards. This cut deep as 1) It came from one of my favorite podcasts and 2) It's the biggest misconception that still plagues the #OOH industry. My #MM to Nick, Jack and all others who see billboards as just an awareness play is talk to people within the #OutofHome industry. Give us the opportunity to show you through data, research, case studies and so much more how powerful an advertising medium billboards can be. I hope everyone has a great week and enjoys this #MM.
