🌍 4th Meeting of COP29 Azerbaijan International Advisory Committee: Driving Climate Action Forward 🌿 November 17, 2024, Baku: The COP29 Presidency hosted the 4th meeting of the International Advisory Committee (IAC), bringing together distinguished leaders and experts to shape the second week of COP29 negotiations. Key highlights: 🔹 Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 President, set the tone by outlining priorities for negotiations and the critical role of IAC members. 🔹 Jean Baderschneider moderated discussions, emphasizing cross-sector collaboration. 🔹 Nigar Arpadarai, High-Level Climate Champion, showcased impactful initiatives like the Business, Investment, and Philanthropy Climate Platform, uniting 1000 global leaders. 🔹 Leyla Hasanova, Youth Climate Champion, spotlighted youth engagement as a cornerstone for sustainable solutions.
