What Not to Do ❌ Do not use salt and lime: 🍋 Although it is a common practice, using salt and lime can mask the flavors of the tequila. This custom arose with lower-quality tequilas but is unnecessary with premium tequilas. Do not freeze tequila: ❄ Freezing tequila can alter its structure and flavor. Moreover, extreme cold can hide the flavors and aromas that make tequila special. Do not drink excessively: ⛔ As with any alcoholic beverage, it is important to consume tequila in moderation. Excessive drinking not only affects your health but also prevents you from fully enjoying the experience. #tequila #TequilaConHistoria #Cheers #CelebrateWithTequila #TequilaProcess

Liqueurs on the Rise - A Sweet Spot for the Modern Drinker The world of spirits is seeing a resurgence in interest for liqueurs, those delightful flavored alcoholic beverages that add complexity and depth to cocktails and can be equally enjoyed neat or on the rocks. This isn't just a fleeting trend – liqueur sales are on the rise, driven by a confluence of factors that cater to the modern drinker's preferences. Consumers today are increasingly seeking out high-quality, unique experiences. This aligns perfectly with the rise of craft liqueurs, where artisanal producers are using traditional methods and locally-sourced ingredients to create small-batch expressions. Just like the craft beer movement, these liqueurs offer a departure from mass-produced brands, boasting distinctive flavor profiles and a story behind each bottle. The cocktail renaissance has fueled a renewed appreciation for liqueurs. Bartenders are no longer confined to a handful of classics; they're experimenting with a vast array of liqueurs to create innovative and flavorful drinks. From floral notes to herbal infusions, liqueurs offer endless possibilities for building complex and balanced cocktails. The beauty of liqueurs lies in their diversity. Whether you prefer the well-rounded flavors of The 1970, the sweet agaveness of Porfidio Dolce, the rich chocolate decadence of Bouvery CV Chocolate Liqueur, or the herbal complexity of Lanique Spirit of Rose, there's a liqueur out there waiting to be discovered. This variety caters to a wide range of palates, ensuring there's something for everyone in the liqueur revival. As the world of liqueurs continues to evolve, one thing remains constant: their ability to elevate the drinking experience. So, next time you're at your local bar or liquor store, embrace the spirit of discovery and explore the exciting world of liqueurs. You might just find your new favorite tipple. #Porfidio #The1970 #Lanique #bouveryCV #craftcocktails #MonsieurTouton #liqueurs

Cocktails and creamy liqueurs can pack in more calories and sugar than you’d expect 🍹 And darker-coloured drinks, such as red wine, whisky and brandy, tend to have higher levels of a chemical compound called congener, which can contribute to hangovers 🍷🥃 Top tip: Opt for lighter-coloured drinks like prosecco, gin with soda water and fresh lime, or vodka as these have fewer congeners and are less likely to cause severe hangovers 🥂🍸 If you would like to see all 12 of my practical tips on how to navigate the festive season without sabotaging your health goals, wander over here: https://bit.ly/3Z6Zy6w #FestiveHealth #HealthTips #AlcoholAwareness #FeelYourBest #LiveBetter

Hello, it’s us again. You have 6 days left to register for the NZ Spirits Awards (entries closing on 17 June at 5pm) https://lnkd.in/gDH2TDvZ Did you know that the practice of salting the rim of a cocktail glass, most famously with a Margarita, actually enhances the drink's flavour profile. Salt can suppress bitterness and enhance sweet and sour flavours, making the overall taste more balanced and enjoyable. When you take a sip of a salted-rim cocktail, the first taste of salt activates your taste buds and primes them for the flavours in the drink. This can make the cocktail taste richer and more complex. Additionally, salt can stimulate saliva production, which helps to cleanse the palate and prepare you for the next sip, enhancing the overall drinking experience. #nzspiritsawards #enternow

📌 If you are a beverage professional, you need www.DistributorPost.com in your professional life! #leadership "Vodka is known for its clean, neutral taste, as it is typically distilled multiple times to remove impurities and any distinct flavors. The goal in vodka production is to create a smooth, almost flavorless spirit, which is why it’s a popular base in cocktails. Vodka can be made from various fermentable ingredients, with common choices including wheat, rye, corn, or potatoes. After distillation, the spirit is filtered, often through charcoal, to achieve its signature purity." "Gin, on the other hand, distinguishes itself with its botanical flavors, particularly the use of juniper berries, which give it its unique pine-like aroma. By law, gin must include juniper as a primary botanical, but distillers often add a variety of other ingredients such as coriander, citrus peel, cardamom, and angelica root to create more complex flavor profiles. The base spirit for gin is often similar to vodka, but after distillation, it is infused with these botanicals, either through maceration or vapor infusion, depending on the method." #articles #learning #beevrage #acohol #distributor #importer #sales #marketing #digitalmarketing #promotion #management #wine #beer #spirits #whiskey #vodka #gin

Cold vodka, warm whisky: why? In the realm of spirits, understanding the nuances is paramount. 🍸 Vodka, celebrated for its clarity and subtlety, is traditionally served chilled, masking any potential harshness and highlighting its refined smoothness. 🥃 Whisky, a beverage rich in character and complexity, unveils its full spectrum of aromas when served warm. From the undertones of honey and caramel to the pronounced notes of nuts and dried fruits, its warmth is a gateway to a sensory experience. It's essential to recognize that while traditions offer guidance, personal preferences play a pivotal role in one's drinking experience. So, as you navigate the world of spirits, how do you resonate with your drink? Is it the chill of vodka or the warmth of whisky that appeals to you? Should you drink whisky neat or with water? 🥃 Adding some water to whisky gives it a smoother and well-rounded taste and this can come in handy if you are sipping on a bold and rich whisky. Water also helps in releasing some of the locked aromas and flavours and brings out the more nuanced aspects of your drink. Whisky can be off-putting to those who are new to it. But adding a little water will mellow it down and make it a more pleasant experience. In the case of whiskies with a higher ABV, say around 50 percent, adding a little water can reduce the harshness of alcohol. How much is too much though? If you add too much water to your whisky, you'll dilute its flavours. So all you need to make your whisky more expressive is two to three drops of water. Do you add water to your whisky? Tell us in the comments section. 💬 #sonalholland #masterofwine #whisky #whiskey #alcohol #tips #wineexpert
