Did you know? Researchers at the University of Wisconsin, supported by CHF funding, discovered that dogs with urothelial cell carcinoma were more likely to swim in a pool! 🏊♂️ This study also reported higher municipal water concentrations of chlorination byproducts among these dogs. Owners of breeds at risk for this cancer might want to think about reducing their dogs' exposure as these factors may contribute to cancer development.
