Cancer deaths in the US have been declining for over thirty years, but not for #BlackWomen, who have the highest death rate for most cancers. Why? And more importantly, what can be done about it? That’s what the American Cancer Society aims to find out through a new study called The Voices of Black Women initiative that will be the largest of its kind, and that will take into consideration the long history of mistreatment of Black women’s bodies.
