Our Chief Executive, Roland Sinker, who is also the National Director for Life Sciences at NHS England, has led the development of a new report that outlines how the NHS has unparalleled potential to become a world leader in healthcare innovation testing and adoption. Innovation is in the DNA of the NHS, and there is a clear sense that the UK could – and should – be the world’s test bed for healthcare innovation. Featured in the Financial Times, this report highlights how the UK’s £108.1 billion life sciences sector turnover and world-leading healthcare data present a unique opportunity to transform care delivery to meet patients’ needs now and in the future. By combining cutting-edge research, clinical expertise, and the scale of the NHS with the life sciences industry, the UK can deliver transformative benefits for patients and cement its status as a global leader. As part of the largest life sciences cluster in Europe here in Cambridge, we’re proud to work alongside one of the most productive communities of researchers in the world. This rich ecosystem of innovation and clinical expertise will change lives across the UK and beyond. Read the full report https://orlo.uk/iZEaC
