It was about a month ago that I saw Ayhan Diş on here, launching CreditPy, the successor to the much-loved CreditR, bringing unparalleled efficiency to tasks such as variable analysis, model development, model calibration, and model validation. I might not have known what all those words meant, but I did know enough to recognise a perfect fit for this show when I saw it 😉 You can explore CreditPy on PyPi (https://lnkd.in/dFpCrGZx) and GitHub (https://lnkd.in/dSGBP2Np), and listen to our full chat via the link below or on your favourite podcast platform. #dataanalytics #creditscoring #creditriskmanagement #datascience #python https://lnkd.in/dNUn3uFt

Since this is the season for finding unexpected little treasures, I decided to drop in a bonus Monday episode of How to Lend Money to Strangers 🥚 Only, instead of being just another chocolate egg, this one is a close look at CreditPy, a helpful new tool for you credit scorecard builders out there, especially those of you working with AI and Machine Learning 😁 I'm chatting to Ayhan Diş, author of CreditPy, about the tool, the upcoming CreditPy Pro, and the data science world in which it operates, with its regulations, trends, and things to consider. Please do jump into the comment here if you've tried it out, or indeed if you have been using CreditR, its much-loved predecessor.

In a Gradient Dissent Podcast Varun Mohan mentioned that with Codium "Developers that hadn’t previously written a lot of C++ now can. Most of our inference stack is in C++". I know that coding assistants have come a long way and are currently the space that has the best enterprise application of this Gen AI boom that we're currently experiencing, but I'm not sure if it's good enough to write production-ready code in a language that the developer isn't that familiar with. What's your experience been so far? I really like comparing GitHub's Copilot, Sourcegraph Cody and am excited to test CodiumAI through different workflows! The podcast was great as usual with Gradient Dissent. (around the 31:30 mark) https://lnkd.in/gW3-YAuu https://lnkd.in/g6K2miFA
