These days, everyone's buzzing about #worklifebalance. Experts have shared their opinions, and some get flak for not valuing life outside work enough, while others are praised for highlighting how to balance the two. To me, balance becomes tricky when you’re juggling work and life without giving enough to either. If you love what you do, defining time for yourself and family becomes easier. But stuck in a job you dislike? That negativity can spill over into your personal life, and balance becomes hard to find. Peace at work is crucial for a happy life. In India, though, work-life balance feels like a luxury. The International Labour Organization says India has one of the most overworked populations, with the average person clocking in 46.7 hours a week. An Economic Times article states nearly 69% of Indians feel underpaid. And then there are those industry leaders asking for 70-hour weeks, dismissing weekends as a Western concept. It’s tough. Work-life balance is subjective. Each of us knows what works best for us. Preaching one-size-fits-all solutions doesn’t help. What do you think? #WorkLifeBalance #WorkCulture #IndiaWorkforce #EmployeeWellbeing

Work-Life Balance: A Necessity, Not a Luxury Narayan Murthy Ji recently expressed concerns about India moving from a 6-day to a 5-day workweek, emphasizing long working hours over work-life balance. While his perspective reflects dedication, the reality today is vastly different. COVID-19 taught us invaluable lessons about life: 👩⚕️ The importance of health—physical, mental, and emotional. 👩👩👦👦 The irreplaceable value of family and personal time. 😇 How burnout is real and recovery isn't possible in just one Sunday off. In today’s fast-paced world, work-life balance and mental stability are essential for everyone. We need two days to recharge, spend time with loved ones, and return to work energized and productive. To Murthy Sir and others who advocate for extended work hours: Your generation built legacies, and we deeply respect that. But the new generation seeks not just to survive but to thrive—personally and professionally. We aspire to work hard, but also live fulfilling lives. And yes, when we reach our 70s, we’ll think about 70-hour workweeks—but with good salaries, a healthy profit share, and a life well-lived. Let’s not just create successful businesses—let’s build a healthier, happier workforce. What’s your take on this? Share your thoughts. #WorkLifeBalance #MentalHealthMatters #ModernWorkforce
