Build with AI Virtual Session : Level Up Your Knowledge! I recently attended the "Build with AI" virtual session, and it was fantastic! The session delved into the cutting edge of AI advancements. Participants explored the latest trends and research that are shaping the future of this incredible technology. I'm excited to share my latest journey into the fascinating world of Generative AI, powered by Hugging Face and Gradio. This journey has been a fantastic blend of creativity, exploration, and pure fun! Building Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) models has been an eye-opener, showing just how interactive and dynamic AI can be when backed by the right tools. Initially, I faced hurdles with the high costs of certain APIs, like OpenAI. But Hugging Face—an open-source powerhouse—is quickly gaining traction as a robust alternative. It’s incredible to see how the open-source ecosystem is evolving to make these technologies more accessible. With Gradio as the user-friendly interface, I recently built a chatbot using Hugging Face’s BlenderBot model, and the results were beyond rewarding. This project gave me hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools, showcasing how powerful and scalable open-source AI can be. I used to utilize Streamlit to create AI applications. After encountering Gradio, I wanted to learn more about it. Well, here it is, Apolinário Passos (Poli) has provided the knowledge of creating AI Applications using Gradio on the DeepLearning.AI platform. He used Hugging Face for open-source models to create 5 different applications: text-image, image-text, chat-bot, etc. The fun part is that this is all for free.
