Genocide-free cola makes a splash in the UK: innovation against Israel’s genocide in Palestine Fifty-three percent of consumers in the Middle East and North Africa are boycotting products from certain brands over recent wars and conflicts, George Shaw, an analyst at GlobalData, tells Al Jazeera. “These companies that fuel this genocide, when you hit them in the most important place, which is the revenue stream, it definitely makes a lot of difference and makes them think,” Qashoo says. Gaza Cola, he adds, is “going to build a boycott movement” that will hit Coke financially. Coca-Cola, which operates facilities in the Israeli Atarot industrial settlement in occupied East Jerusalem, faced a fresh boycott starting on October 7 last year, here is a source: Coca-Cola operates on stolen Palestinian land and is therefore directly profiting from Israel's illegal occupation and apartheid in Palestine. Coca-Cola has a factory in Atarot, an illegal Israeli settlement built on stolen Palestinian land. Palestinian communities are forcibly removed for illegal Israeli settlements like this to be built. These settlements are illegal under international law. By having an Israeli franchise in the illegal Israeli settlement of Atarot, Coca-Cola is ignoring international law and profiting from the illegal occupation. There are currently up to 750,000 Israeli settlers living in at least 250 illegal Israeli settlements across the occupied West Bank and East Jeruasalem. By drinking Coca-Cola, we as consumers are turning a blind eye to the illegal occupation of Palestine. In 2022 American food company General Mills announced it was divesting from Atarot as a direct result of pressure from human rights groups, activists and others. Let's keep up the pressure on Coca-Cola to stop operating in Atarot! Join our call to #BoycottCocaCola until it stops operating in Atarot illegal Israeli settlement. Make a pledge to boycott Coca-Cola until it stops operating on stolen Palestinian land. #humanrights #neveragainisnow #leadership #values #innovation #stopisraelsgenocideinpalestine

WHERE DO I EVEN START? I’m “snow globing”. Last Wednesday I excitedly drove up to Bolton. The FAB Business Club for female solopreneurs with gumption had a table for 2 days at “Glasto for business” aka The Big Festoon with 👑🐝 Dani Wallace 👑🐝 Dr. Jenny Gordon and I were up early to add fun props so that we were the table everyone wanted to be at😂 🦩Fabulous 🦩Luminaries 🦩Always 🦩Make an 🦩Impression and 🦩Never 🦩Get 🦩Overlooked We just had the best time ever. We laughed, we cried, we learned, we grew, we sang, we danced. We made lots of new connections and gave out lots of golden tickets. I’m still processing. Last time I went to this event I was buzzing for 4 months. 🐝 Tickets for next year sold out yesterday within 48 hours of going on sale. I’m glad I took action and bagged 2 tables. I have a few seats still available. Message me for details. Any event that you feel OK to wear sequins, and dance and sing with disco sticks at 9.30am in the morning has got to be a winner in my book. What’s the best business event you’ve ever been to? #womeninbusiness #connection #personalbranding #bemoreyou

Yesterday I took my daughters to see the peacocks at Holland Park. Well, what actually happened was that I got the girls out of the house for 6 hours while my partner did some confidential work from home. It involved 3 bus rides, 2 tube journeys, thousands of steps, umpteen visits to the toilet and getting lost more than once. But I would never have sold that kind of day to a 5 year old and a 7 year old. They needed a simpler proposition. For 5 year old Eleri that turned out to be seeing a peacock. For 7 year old Adara it was going to the Taylor Swift exhibition at the V&A (which was a surprise as she's much less of a Swifty that her sister. But museums are definitely her jam). 'Okay, let's go and see a peacock and then we'll go to the V&A.' This was enough to get them out of the door, enthused. Then I could elaborate on how we were going to do it... Selling your expertise doesn't mean bombarding prospects with your detailed knowledge. There's a place for going deep into explaining your process but the sales message rarely benefits from it. Often there's just a single idea or concept that will change the way your ideal customers think about how to get what they want. One idea that makes taking action seem simpler, clearer, more doable. One thing they need to know to start their journey with you. Finding this 'one thing' makes marketing a lot easier. ================================================================================================== Learn this and more expert messaging concepts from my upcoming email course 'B2B Messaging Engine'. It's not finished yet, but you can join the waitlist via the featured section in my profile.

✨ Behind the Scenes ✨ Last Saturday was a rollercoaster of emotions. I was prepared for a busy and exciting day with two major events: the Seniors Games at the Rugby Union Club and our first cultural coffee event for Peru Day at the Coffee Commune. Andrea and our friend Jun were set to run the show at Norman Park. I was going to help them set up and then head over to the Coffee Commune. Everything was going smoothly until I tried to start the generator, and it wouldn’t start. Of all days, that was the day the generator failed us. Despite the club's efforts and Mika trying to help us on the phone, after plans A, B, and C didn’t work, we had to give up. I apologized to the club, Jun took the van back home, and Andrea and I had to clear our heads before heading to the Coffee Commune. The mood wasn't great. I felt sad, overwhelmed, and nervous about the event. I couldn’t understand why this had to happen on such a special day. With Andrea’s help, I shook it off, and we prepared for Peru Day, which turned out to be the complete opposite of my morning! We went from disaster to pure joy! Our event went incredibly well, and the overwhelming support we received was positively uplifting. I guess life gives us a bit of everything, and we just have to roll with it, maintain the right attitude, and keep moving forward.
