Hey everyone,
Today, we have another great clip where Alex Gibson discusses the significance of sports in a University admissions and real estate workplace perspective.

An absolute pleasure.
The conversion was rich in solutions rather than a perspective of reactions.
Often we look to mitigate the impact of society on our young people. Rather than looking to remove any barriers that they may face.
It was great to get back to the core, with a group of individuals who which to use sport, not only as a mechanism for a professional avenue, but more to draw away the skills that sport teaches us.
Having played full time football and part time in non-league. Even being lucky enough to move onto the Conference. All whilst running a business.
Sport has taught me the following:
- hard work is not negotiable,
- just because you like something it doesn’t make the grind any easier,
- resilience is a must in any walk of life,
- team work is essential to build morale and culture,
- you must be willing to pick others up around you where they need a helping hand.
These are the same principles that I have applied to life and here at Bouncing Statistics whilst I wish for young people to learn these vital skills and values also.
Brilliant meeting Rackeem Reid yesterday discussing all things young people, the challenges they face and the power that sport has to level the playing field, and to hear about their brilliant work Bouncing Statistics.
Really thought-provoking conversation about being evidence-based in our approach and authentic in our direction as we look to put plans in place for our upcoming football and education programme Birmingham United for the 24/25 season.
Looking forward to working together to positively impact the lives of young people in our city.
It's that time of the year where we come together for an enriching exchange of ideas at our round table conference with the Board of Advisors🙌
We look forward to discussing the wide landscape of careers in the field of sports and how we align our curriculum to prepare students for the future!

👏 Well played Aberdeen Football Club!
To celebrate the new academic year getting underway they are offering new and returning students the opportunity to take in the match against Motherwell Football Club for just £7 with the added bonus of a free pint of Tennents...
Between RGU and Aberdeen University there are over 30,000 students in the area and with a highly diverse community from over 130 countries it's a huge opportunity to attract a new audience to Pittodrie.
With Freshers week fast approaching it's worth starting to think about things that you can do to engage new students, there are several things you could do 👇
📉 Offer a discount on ticket prices for matches around freshers week and throughout the academic year.
🧣 Set up a stall at the Freshers Fayre with competitions and free merchandise.
💬 Liaise with the local college/university about a player/manager going to talk to students about the club.
🍺 Partner with local restaurants/bars to offer discounts on food and drink to student ticketholders.
These are just some ideas that you could do at your club to engage the student audience, let me know in the comments if you have seen any other good examples!
