Just want to add a comment on yesterday's: “I desire, but i do not need” This blurb is deemed an advance blurb - meaning it is for someone with already a certain level of self mastery. It is difficult to present or explain to someone not versed in or just beginning to dabble in self help. Having said that, the Oxford Dictionary of Quotations have over 800 pages of quotes from people from all walks of life - religious, management gurus, literary writers, politicians etc. I just hope that it at least has a system to classify these quotes into different levels. A beginner in self help could so easily be misguided. Having said that, our idu Core 35 blurbs focus on Simplicity. Continuing on yesterday's intriguing debate: Can Love be partial - not entirely selfless? For eg, one could say "i only love someone IF *****" or " i only love someone WHEN ****" Both the above are situational scenarios. However, one forgets the difference between LIKE and LOVE - which we use interchangeably in today's world. Those Situation scenarios are based on LIKE, and not LOVE. LOVE does not dwell in situational scenarios - thus impossible to argue that Love as selfless energy could be partial. What do you think? PS.
