Earlier this month, families from our Children and Young Adults Service, along with families who come to us for Bereavement Support, were treated to a truly magical evening at The Alnwick Garden Light Trail ✨ It was a night to remember as they strolled through the glowing gardens, creating special memories and enjoying precious time together 🥰 Aimie, who comes to us for Bereavement Support, visited the trail with her two children, Finley and Matilda. Talking about the experience, she said: "We’d just like to say a huge thank you to St Oswald’s Hospice for organising the tickets to the light trail. The Alnwick Garden is a very special place for my family as we have a memorial bench for my husband in the cherry orchard. It was such a peaceful and comforting experience – and we are so grateful." Kate, mum of Niamh, who attends our Children and Young Adults Service, said: "We all had such an amazing time. Niamh was so alert and really took it all in, which is surprising since she usually likes to be in bed by 6pm! It was so lovely to see her enjoying herself – and we are all so thankful for the opportunity." A heartfelt thank you goes to Worldpay for their generous donation of tickets, which made this unforgettable experience possible. #StOswaldsHospice | #QualityTimeForEveryone | #OpenUpHospiceCare | #AlnwickGardenLightTrail | #MakingMemories | #WorldPay
